Checkout Methods|One-Page Store

The One-Page Store feature offers two checkout methods. "One-Page Checkout" simplifies the steps from product selection to order placement, allowing for quick completion on a single page. "General Cart Checkout" follows the same flow as the online store, offering a familiar experience for customers.

⚠️ Before you begin, please note:

  • Member login and registration are only available in One-Page Checkout.
  • Each One-Page Store uses its own shopping cart, and products in the cart are not synced with other One-Page Stores or the Online Store. In other words, different stores use separate shopping carts, and they do not share a cart with the Online Store.
  • This feature is only available on SHOP Builder pages.
  • Merchants with "KOL Group Buying" / "Advance Store Management Tools" modules can create up to 1,000 One-Page Stores, while those without the modules are limited to 10 One-Page Stores.

To modify the checkout settings on One-Page Store, go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Settings] > [Checkout Settings], and find the section for "Require login for One-Page Store checkout".

 

You have 3 options to choose from. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update to save the changes.

The member login/registration section is displayed under the cart subtotal. Login is required for checkout.

Once the setup is complete, a pop-up window will appear when customers click the login/registration button.

This section will cover the following 5 parts:

 

i. Shopping cart / Promotion / Coupon and Coupon Code

Shopping cart

The total number of items and free shipping notifications are displayed at the top of the section. For descriptions of other fields, please refer to the table below.

Product Information Product name, image, attributes, variation, and variant.
Promotions Notification of whether the product meets the promotion requirements.
Unit Price Price of the product per unit.
QTY Current number of products in the cart. You can enter a number, or click "+" or "-" to edit the quantity.
Subtotal Subtotal = Unit Price × QTY

Click the trash can icon and a window will pop up. Click Confirm to remove the product.

Discount Applied Total amount of discounts applied in the cart.
Cart Subtotal Cart Subtotal = Subtotal - Discount Applied.

 

Promotion / Coupon and Coupon Code

Promotions

Promotions applied are marked in green. The promotion titles and discount amounts are displayed below.

Promotions not yet met are marked in orange. The promotion title and the remaining amount to qualify are displayed on the right.

Coupon and Coupon Code

You can choose to enter coupon codes or select a coupon. For more information about coupons, please refer to Show Coupons in Coupon Center.

If your online store does not support stackable discounts, the system will display a notification that says: "Other Coupon has been applied. Please Remove it to apply new coupon."

ii. Customer Information

Logged in

If a customer has logged in to his member account before entering the One-Page Store, he will also remain logged in on the page.

Logged out

If a customer is logged out or not an online store member when entering the One-Page Store, he will need to fill in the name, phone number, and email address (gender and birthday are optional).

iii. Delivery Method

The delivery methods vary across countries/regions. Please see the table below for the methods supported and not supported. If you would like to learn more about logistics, you can refer to the following articles:

*Notes:

  • If your delivery method version is outdated, it may affect One-Page Checkout operations. Please hide the old version and create a new "Custom" delivery method without integration.
  • Logistics services are only available in Taiwan and Hong Kong. Other countries/regions are not currently supported.

Logged in

If a customer has logged in to his member account before entering the One-Page Store, his member information will be automatically filled in, including the recipient's name and phone number. The customer only needs to complete the remaining (Country/region and Delivery Method).

Logged out

If a customer is logged out or not an online store member when entering the One-Page Store, he will need to fill in the following fields: 

  • Country/Region: Select from the drop-down list.
  • Delivery Method: Select from the drop-down list (You can only select the delivery methods supported in the country/region).
  • Recipient info: Switch off the blue toggle and enter the recipient's name and phone number.

iv. Payment Method

The payment methods vary across countries/regions. Please see the table below for the methods supported and not supported. If you would like to learn more about payment options, you can refer to the following articles:

Click Update to change payment methods (You can only select payment methods supported in the country/region).

The system supports displaying installment rates, payment instructions, and promotional campaigns. Once chosen, you can click Change payment method.

v. Remarks for Shop / Cart Summary

Logged in

If a customer has logged in to his member account before entering the One-Page Store, he will see the following fields:

  • Item Subtotal: Displays Discount Applied, Applied Store Credits, Applied Point Discount, delivery fee, and tax.
  • Total: Displays the total amount to be paid for the order, the credits, and points that can be earned after the order is completed.

For any special requests or notes, customers can fill them in the "Remarks for Shop" field. After confirming that the order information is correct, customers need to agree to the website's terms of service and click Place Order to complete the checkout.

Logged out

If a customer is logged out or not an online store member when entering the One-Page Store, he will see the following fields: 

  • Item Subtotal: Displays Discount Applied, delivery fee, and tax.
  • Total: Displays the total amount to be paid for the order.

For any special requests or notes, customers can fill them in the "Remarks for Shop" field. After confirming that the order information is correct, customers need to agree to the website's terms of service, choose whether to become a member and whether to receive marketing information, and then click Place Order to complete the checkout.

3. General Cart Checkout

This checkout process is similar to the general checkout steps in the online store. However, logging in/out of member accounts on the One-Page Store is not supported. If customers wish to use membership benefits, store credits, or points, please log in to the online store as a member first, then proceed to the One-Page Store via the link to make a purchase.

This section will cover the following 3 parts:

 

1. Cart

Product information and promotions are displayed at the top of the section. For descriptions of other fields, please refer to the table below.

Product Information Product name, image, attributes, variation, and variant.
Promotions Notification of whether the product meets the promotion requirements.
Unit Price Price of the product per unit.
QTY Current number of products in the cart. You can enter a number, or click "+" or "-" to edit the quantity.

Click the "X" icon and a window will pop up. Click OK to remove the product.

Cart Add-ons Recommended related products or add-on items at discounted prices.
Select Payment Type and Delivery Method Select the country/region, payment type, and delivery method.

Fill in Destination

Provide corresponding destination information based on the selected delivery method.

Order Information

Includes order information such as subtotal, discounts, taxes, point / credit redemptions, shipping fees, etc.

 

2. Fill in information

Fill in the buyer's information required for checkout. Please refer to the table below for detailed field descriptions.

Customer Information

If logged in, the system will automatically load member information. If not logged in, name, email, and phone number must be filled in (gender and birthday are optional).

Delivery Details

Fill in recipient information or check "Same as customer information". The supported delivery methods vary by country/region. For more logistics information:

Order Remarks

Fill in if there are special requests or notes.

Payment Information

Payment method selected on the Cart page; supported payment methods vary by country/region. For more payment information:          

Agree to Terms of Use and Privacy Policy

Check to agree and submit the order.

 

3. Order confirmation

After the order is placed, the system will send an SMS or email notification to the customer, completing the checkout process.

4. Notes

  • Every One-Page Store uses an individual shopping cart, and the products in the cart are not synced to other One-Page Stores or Online Store. In other words, different stores use separate shopping carts, and they do not share a cart with the Online Store.
     
  • Once "One-Page Checkout" is enabled, logging in/out of a member account on the One-Page Store will not be supported. If customers wish to use member discounts, store credits, or points, they need to log in to their account on the online store and then access the One-Page Store via the provided link.
     
  • This feature can be enabled simultaneously with the "Multi-Attribute Products Order Checkout" function. However, products with different attributes cannot be checked out together and must be checked out separately. The system will determine based on the attribute of the first item in the cart.

    If you enable both features, it is recommended to select products with the same attribute when setting up a One-Page Store to reduce the risk of failed checkout. For more information on related features, please refer to: Multi-Attribute Products Order Checkout and Set Up Product Attributes.

     Example    

    Flower Essential Oil Soap Product Attribute: Room Temp
    Lavender Essential Oil Product Attribute: Refrigerated
    Cosmos Essential Oil Product Attribute: Refrigerated

    Since the first item in the cart (Flower Essential Oil Soap) has a Room Temp attribute, the Refrigerated attribute products (Lavender Essential Oil, Cosmos Essential Oil) cannot be checked out together.
     

  • If the "Show Non-applied Promotion Reminders on Shopping Cart page" feature is disabled, the checkout page will not display reminders for promotions the customer has not yet qualified for.
     
  • When creating the One-Page Store, if you select the "Do not apply promotion" option in the "Online Store Promotion" setting, the system will not display the free shipping section, as well as auto-applied promotions, non-applied promotions, and coupon remarks. However, if a customer manually enters a valid coupon code, the associated discount will still be applied.
     
  • If you select "Do not apply" in the "Earn Member Points & Store Credit" setting, reward notifications will be hidden. Customers will not earn credits or points upon order completion, even if they meet the reward conditions.
     
  • If you select "Do not apply" in the "Redeem Member Points & Store Credit" section, the redemption section will be hidden. Customers will be unable to redeem credits or points for their order.
     
  • This feature is only supported by SHOP Builder. Currently, SHOP Builder is available only for the Ultra Chic, Kingsman, Varm, and Philia theme templates, and each Product List Widget can display up to the first 40 items from the selected category.

  • The following features are not supported:
    Add-on item 
    Express Checkout
    Shopping Cart Add-on
    Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store
     
  • If you switch to a theme template other than Ultra Chic, Kingsman, Varm, or Philia, the One-Page Store will be unavailable for displaying or editing.
