FAQ & Notes
1. I provided the correct link to my partner, but they report that commissions are not being calculated?
When a customer enters the store via an affiliate link or enters an affiliate code, the shopping cart records the tracking code for that campaign. If the tracking code is cleared, cancelled, or not applied, it could be due to the following reasons:
⚠️ Group buying campaigns created in One-Page Store will not have the following issues. The scenarios below apply only to campaigns created on the brand homepage, selected product pages, or category pages.
-
Affiliate Code not successfully bound
- When using Affiliate Campaign, check if the link follows the Formula.
- When using One-Page Store, check if the activity is bound in the Commission Settings.
-
Affiliate Code successfully bound but...
- The cart has been idle for more than 180 days.
- The customer recently cleared their browser cache.
- The customer logged out of the online store.
- After the first order, the customer placed a second order in the same browser; the system will not count commission for the second order (the tracking code is removed after checkout).
- The customer entered a different affiliate code at checkout.
- The customer placed the order using a different page/browser session without the code.
*Note: If the customer clicks on the affiliate link or enters the affiliate code while logged in, yet subsequently clears the cache or logs out of the store, the shopping cart and tracking code will be removed. However, if the customer uses the same account to log back in, since the tracking code is still stored in the shopping cart of the member account, the tracking code of the affiliate campaign will still be recorded when the customer places an order.
