Whether products are added from a computer, mobile device, bulk upload, or imported from Instagram, they will all appear in the Admin > [Products & Categories] > [Products]. This allows store owners to quickly view, publish/unpublish, and manage all products.

 

The article will cover the following:

 

1. Filter product

In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Products & Categories] > [Products] > Product List. Select the "show: All" drop-down menu.

After selecting the drop-down menu, you’ll see two sections: System Defaults and Product Categories. Select the desired filter to display the corresponding products in the table below.

System Defaults Includes All Products, [Coming Soon] Free Gift (New), Online Store/Retail Store Published, Online Store/Retail Store Unpublished, and Preorder.
Product Categories Displays the product categories you’ve created.

2. Bulk actions

If there are promotional events or product-specific restrictions that require bulk actions such as publishing/unpublishing, moving products to different categories, or adjusting payment or delivery options, this feature allows you to save time by applying changes to multiple products at once.

Step 1. Select products

Check the boxes in front of the products.

Step 2. Select bulk action

Click Bulk Actions to perform the corresponding action.

The bulk actions are as follows:

Publish/Unpublish products Click Online Store Publish, Online Store Unpublish, Retail Store Publish or Retail Store Unpublish to adjust product status.
Delete products

Click Delete Selected to remove them from your store.

*Note: Once deleted, the product need to be re-added. Please double-check your selections before deletion.

Assign to other category Click Assign to Categories to adjust product's category. For more information about product categories, please refer to: Set Up a Product Category.
Change delivery/payment option

Click Add applicable payment option, Add applicable delivery option, Exclude payment option or Exclude delivery option to perform the action. For detailed steps, please refer to: Product Bulk Actions.

*Notes:

  • "Add applicable payment/delivery option" will not affect the existing payment/delivery settings for products.
  • You cannot exclude "all" payment/delivery options; at least one option must remain available on the storefront.

 

3. Import products

If you need to add a large number of products or want to import existing products from your Instagram Shop, SHOPLINE offers the "Products > Import" feature.

i. Upload Excel / Google Sheet

Click Bulk Import/Update to download the instructions file and official templates. Enter the product details such as basic information, descriptions, categories, and prices. Once completed, upload the file to the system to bulk update products in the admin.

For detailed steps, please refer to: Bulk Upload Products (New).

*Note: Three fields are required in the bulk upload file: "Product Handle," "Product Name," and "Images". The import will fail if any of these fields are left blank.

ii. Instagram import

Once your Instagram account is linked to the SHOPLINE, the system will display your account content. Click Import on the right to import the posts into "Products". For detailed steps, please refer to: Import Products through Instagram.

 

4. Export product sales volume report

The sales report displays all products (including variations), add-on items, and free gifts. You can use Excel tools to calculate revenue, costs, and other figures.

[Coming Soon] The sales of the new version of free gifts and their main products will be counted together. To view separate data for free gifts and main products, please refer to Revenue Analysis by Product Report.

Step 1

In the product list page, click Product Sales Volume Report.

Step 2

Select "Product Sales Volume Report" in the "Sales" section.

Step 3

Select a report date range and click Export to export the report.

Click the OK button and the system will send the report to your email. For more information about "Reports Email", please refer to: Shop Email Management.

Step 4

Download the report in your email.

5. Search products

On the top right of the product list page, you’ll find a search bar with two options: "All" and "Tagged with". If you have assigned tags to your products, searching by a specific tag will display all products with that tag in the list below.

6. Add products

To add a new product to your online store, click the blue Add button to access the product creation page. You can configure the following 10 details for your product. For detailed steps, please refer to: Upload Products.

  • Metafields
  • Images
  • Product Information
  • Categories
  • Quantity & Pricing
  • Variations
  • Add-on items
  • Search Engine Optimization
  • Settings
  • Product Feed Data
  • Metafields

*Note: A product must have at least one "Main Image" and a "Product Name" to be successfully added.

7. Show discount percentage

Step 1

In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Settings] > [Product Settings] > Online Store > Storefront Extension Features, and enable the toggle for "Show 'discount percentage' next to product prices on the storefront product list".

Step 2

Select the discount display format. Once completed, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update to save the changes.

 

How each display format looks in the storefront

8. Notes

  • The product order on the product list page is fixed based on the upload sequence and cannot be adjusted.
