Shopper App v1.17 includes optimizations for key elements and the shopping flow, allowing you to present product information and promotions more flexibly while enhancing overall app consistency and the shopping experience. Here are the key highlights of this update.
i. New icons in the "Top Navigation"
A. Homepage design
The top navigation on the homepage already supports the following icons:
- Cart
- Member Center
- Notification
- Settings
New icons added in this update:
- Wishlist
- Recently Viewed
- Messages
*Notes:
- Before updating to platform version v1.17, the system defaults to showing the "Settings" icon; after the update, the default icon is "Wishlist".
- If the store or customers have not updated the app to v1.17, the new icons will not display correctly.
B. Member Center
The top navigation on the member center already supports the following icons:
- Cart
- Notification
- Settings
New icons added in this update:
- Search
- Messages
*Note: If the store or customers have not updated the app to v1.17, the new icons will not display correctly.
ii. Optimized "Product Slider" element
- When customers tap this element, they will be redirected to the product list page.
- For the "Select a product category" setting, the system will show sold-out products and will not show hidden products by default.
iii. Improved "Product List" element
For the "Select a product category" setting, the system will show sold-out products and will not show hidden products by default.
iv. Enhanced "Hidden Product" display
Customers can access the product detail page of hidden products and complete purchases through the following and more paths:
- Simple Template > Product Slider Element
- Simple Template > Product List Element
- Mall Template > Product Slider Element
- Mall Template > Product List Element
- Mall Template > Product with Text
- Links to hidden products set in the element redirection setting
- Links to hidden products sent by merchants via Messages
*Note: Hidden products can be viewed in the "Wishlist" and "Recently Viewed" pages, but customers cannot tap into the product detail page from these pages.
v. Optimized "Coupon Center"
The system will list all ongoing or upcoming coupons set as "Display coupon in the shop coupon center", with no manual setup required.
vi. Optimized "Messages" page
- Enhanced page design.
- When customers access Messages from a product detail page, the product information is automatically included, allowing them to send messages and make inquiries more easily.
vii. Optimized "Promotions" page
Only promotions that are available to the Shopper App (can be directly used in the app) will be displayed.
