The "Promotions" page allows customers to browse all store promotions, easily find applicable discounts, and subscribe to upcoming campaigns. When a promotion starts, the system automatically sends a push notification to customers, effectively boosting conversion rates.
This article will cover the following:
1. Setup in Admin
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Shopper App Management] > [App Design] > [Current Template]. Click Set up to enter the app editor page. The following 3 elements support the "Promotions" page configuration, which you can set up as needed:
i. Sidebar Navigation
- Top Section
- Middle Section: Add a custom group, enable the "jump link" and select "Promotions".
ii. Main Tab
Add a custom tab, and select the "Promotions" jump link.
iii. Bottom Navigation
*Note: If your Shopper App platform version is below 1.13, the "Promotions" tab will not appear in the app's Sidebar Navigation or Main Tab. The Bottom Navigation will redirect to the store homepage instead.
2. "Promotions" page content
Promotions are sorted by start time, with a maximum display of 30 campaigns, including the following categories:
- Ongoing campaigns: Active campaigns, marked with a "Hot sale" tag.
- Today's notice: Promotions set to start today but have not begun yet, displaying the start time and a subscribe button.
- Tomorrow's notice: Promotions set to start tomorrow, displaying the start time and a subscribe button.
- Specific Date Preview: Promotions set to start after tomorrow, displaying the start time and a subscribe button. If the promotion's start time crosses into next year, the year will also be displayed.
3. "Promotions" subscription feature
To allow customers to subscribe to campaigns on the "Promotions" page, please go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Shopper App Management] > [App Notification Settings], click Personal Message > Promotions tab, and enable the "Promotion Start Notification".
If this notification is not enabled, the "Subscribe" and "My Subscriptions" buttons will not appear in the app.
*Notes:
- If the customer's device has not enabled system notifications: Clicking Subscribe will trigger a pop-up reminding customers to enable notifications.
- If the customer has not enabled the "Event Push" under [Setting] > [Push Settings] in the app, clicking Subscribe will automatically enable the event push and successfully subscribe to the campaign.
