You can set up app-exclusive promotions that can only be used when customers check out within the app, attracting more customers to increase app usage.
⚠️ Before you start, please be reminded:
- This feature is not supported in the Shopper App free trial plan.
- For Hong Kong merchants, this feature is available only on the Shopper App Pro plan.
This article will cover the following:
1. Create app-exclusive promotions
You can create app-exclusive promotions under the following promotion types:
- Promotions
- Bundle Promotion
- A+B Promotion
- Buy X Get Y Promotion
- Reward Campaign
- Free Shipping Promotion
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Promotions & Reward] > [Promotions / Free Shipping / Bundle Promotions / Reward Campaign], and click the Add button.
Step 2
Select "Shopper App" only in the "General Information > Available Channel" section.
Step 3
To set up an app-exclusive first purchase offer, select "For first purchase only" and "First purchase in selected channels" in the "Set Target Group > Other Settings" section.
*Notes:
- Reward Campaign does not support first purchase settings.
- If the promotion is set to "Send coupon through links or customer groups", the system does not support updating the available channel or first purchase settings.
Step 4
After completing all the settings, click Confirm & Publish the Discount Promotion.
2. Manage app-exclusive promotions
Step 1
Go to the promotions list page and select "Available Channel" from the "Add Filter" dropdown menu.
Step 2
Select "Shopper App" to view all app-exclusive promotions.
Step 3
You can edit, duplicate, publish, unpublish, delete the promotions, or view the redemption/usage records.
3. App display effect
- The coupon will display an "App Exclusive" tag.
- The promotion page will display "Available channel: App Exclusive".
*Note: The coupon will only be displayed if the customer meets the first purchase condition. If not, the customer will not be able to claim the coupon, and the system will display a claim failed message.
