SHOPLINE Live supports displaying live streams and replays in the Shopper App, allowing customers to watch on their mobile devices anytime, anywhere. Maximize product exposure and drive higher conversion rates.
⚠️ Before you start, please be reminded: The Shopper App platform version must be updated to v1.16 or above to use this feature. Go to [Shopper App Management] > [App Publish Settings] to view your current version.
Create Shopper App livestream
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Social Commerce] > [SHOPLINE Live] and click the Create livestream button at the top right corner.
Step 2
Select the "SHOPLINE" broadcast channel and complete the required setup to create your livestream. For more information, please refer to: SHOPLINE Live | Create & Start a Livestream.
Step 3
Once the livestream has started, click the Shopper App Live button.
Step 4
Enable the "Display the livestream on your Shopper App" toggle and click Save. The livestream will automatically appear in the app as a floating action button.
*Notes:
- This feature cannot be enabled before the livestream starts.
- If another livestream is currently being displayed, saving your changes will replace the existing content. Customers will not be able to replay the replaced livestream, but any items they added to their cart will still be available for checkout in the new livestream.
- Livestreams are retained for 1 month. If you do not disable this feature after 1 month, the floating action button will remain visible in the app, showing livestream ended message when tapped.
Step 5
In the recent livestream list, the livestream will display a "Shopper App Live" label.
