Order Broadcast | Broadcast Center

To help reduce order management costs and streamline operations, SHOPLINE Broadcast Center now supports "Order Broadcast", which allows you to send messages in bulk to selected orders. This creates a new communication channel between merchants and customers.

This article will cover the following:

1. Create an order broadcast message

Step 1

You can create a new order broadcast message from either Broadcast Center or Message Center.

Broadcast Center

  1. In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Customer Management] > [Broadcast Center].
  2. Select the "Order Broadcast" tab.
  3. Click New Message.

Message Center

  1. In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Social Commerce] > [Message Center].
  2. Select the "Order Message" tab.
  3. Click Bulk send order message.

 

Step 2

A pop-up will appear with a brief introduction of the Order Broadcast feature. After reviewing, click Select orders to continue.

*Note: If you don't want this pop-up to show again in the future, check "Don't remind me again" before clicking Select orders.

 

Step 3

In the order list, use the search or filter features to select your orders. You can select multiple orders勾選.gif or select all orders across pages.

 

Step 4

Click the "More Actions" drop-down menu and select Create Order Broadcast Message.

 

2. Customize broadcast content

Step 1

When creating a new order broadcast message, there are the Broadcast message information and Message content sections.

Broadcast message information

This section displays details of the orders you selected in Step 3 so you can double-check before sending.

  • Number of orders: The total number of orders included in this broadcast.
  • Order filter: The search or filter conditions used to select orders.

 

Message content

You can set up the broadcast message title, content, and image.

  • Broadcast message title (required): For internal management only. Up to 30 characters.
  • Message content (required): The content you want to broadcast to customers. Up to 1000 characters.
  • Image: Supports uploading one image within 5 MB in JPG, JPEG, and PNG formats.

 

Step 2

Confirm the broadcast information and content, then click Save.

*Notes:

  • Sending order broadcast messages does not require authorization from customers. However, please make sure the message is order-related rather than promotional to avoid any regulatory violations.

Step 3

On the pop-up confirmation window, click Confirm.

 

Step 4

You will be redirected back to the order broadcast page. The broadcast you sent will be displayed here. For more details, please refer to 3. View the broadcast details.

 

3. View broadcast details

Sending status

When the sending status is updated from "Pending" to "Sent", it indicates the broadcast has been sent successfully.

 

Sending result

The number on the left indicates the number of successfully sent messages, while the number on the right indicates the total number of target recipients. Click View to see more broadcast details.

 

In the "Sending results" section, you can see the number of successful and failed sendings. Click View to see the order number and the reason for the sending failure.

*Note: You can view up to 1000 failed sendings. Failed sending reports can be downloaded within 30 days.

 

Sending samples

Email

The message content and image will appear in full in the email. Customers can click Reply to leave a message in your store.

 

SMS

The SMS will not display the message content or image. Instead, customers will receive a notification with a link directing them to your store to view the order message.

 

Shop and customer comments

Log in to the storefront, go to [Member account] > [Orders], and click View. Scroll down to the "Shop and Customer Comments" section to view the order broadcast message.
