SHOPLINE provides "Top Checked Out Product Pairs" and "Abandoned Cart Analysis" via [Customer Behavior] > [Shopping Cart Analysis], which shows the bundling of products that have been successfully checked out and which products have been added to the cart but not yet purchased, helping you formulate suitable marketing and restocking strategies.

 

⚠️ Before you start, please be noted:

  • Customer Behavior: Customer cart data is recorded as of 13 Nov 2019. Any customer cart-related data isn't available before then.
  • The "Product Pairs" and "Abandoned Products" metrics below include general products, product sets, and add-ons. Product sets are measured by sets. For example, Product Set A has 3 child products, and then its "Check Out Counts by Product" should be 1.
  • The scope of the analysis for "Top Checked Out Product Pairs" covers the omnichannel order data, while that of "Abandoned Cart Analysis" is limited to the online store data.

 

This article will cover the following:

 

1. Top Checked Out Product Pairs

Go to Shoplytics Dashboard > [Customer Behavior] > [Shopping Cart Analysis]. The "Top Checked Out Product Pairs" will analyze the omnichannel data for your orders and list the top product pairs being checked out. The product pairs include main products, free gifts, and add-on items. You can base the top product pairs as a reference to design your product combinations.

SHOPLINE also offers time-based filtering criteria. If no product pairs are available for reference from the orders in the selected range, this block will remain empty.

 

Product Search Bar

Enter the Product Name/ SKU/ Barcode in the search bar to quickly find the data you need.

*Note: Search product sets by product name and barcode; search add-ons by product name and SKU.

Metrics Description
Product Pairs The first 100 product pairs ranking of multiple general products, product sets, and add-ons purchased in every single order
Check Out Counts by Product The number of products checked out
Check Out Counts by Pair The number of product pairs checked out
Ratio The ratio of product pairs and total orders.
Calculation: The checkout counts by Pair / Total Orders*

* The total orders included canceled and deleted orders.

 

2. Abandoned Cart Analysis

In the "Abandoned Cart Analysis" report, you can observe how many online store shopping carts were abandoned during a specific period. Likewise, you can identify which products are most frequently added to the cart but ultimately abandoned by customers. This allows you to reflect on and adjust your product strategies to increase the checkout conversion rate.

*Note: In Abandoned Cart Analysis, abandoned carts derived from "+1" comments in livestream or Social Post Selling will not be included.

Metrics Description
Total Abandoned Count

The number of carts where customers have added products but haven't completed the checkout within 24 hours; beyond 24 hours, it won't be tracked again.


*Note: The system will not automatically clear customer shopping carts. Customers must complete the checkout themselves or merchants can clear customer carts in the SHOPLINE Live dashboard.

Total Abandoned Value The value of products in the abandoned cart
Top Abandoned Products The products added to the cart and have not been checked out within 24 hours are seen as abandoned products.
*The number of items per page can be selected at the bottom of the block
