i. System's default pages

The system initially sets up eight default pages: Home, About, Shop All, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, Delivery Policy, and Anti-Fraud Statement. These eight pages are obligatory for your store and thus cannot be deleted.

  • Home is categorized as "Advanced page."
  • About, Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Return PolicyDelivery Policy, and Anti-Fraud Statement are categorized as "Text Page."
  • Shop All is a summary page of all the products in the store and can be used for search engine optimization.

A. Templates for Return Policy, Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy and Anti-Fraud Statement are supported

a. Templates for Return Policy and Delivery Policy

  • If you are a merchant in Taiwan or Hong Kong and your store was created after 22 December 2021, the system provides Traditional Chinese templates for the "Return Policy" and "Delivery Policy."
*Note: If customers switch to other language interfaces on the storefront to view the "Return Policy" or "Delivery Policy," the default Traditional Chinese templates will not be displayed. You need to add the content of the corresponding language for "Return Policy" and "Delivery Policy" here.

  • If you are a merchant in Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, or other countries, and your store was created after 19 May 2022, the system provides English templates for the "Return Policy" and "Delivery Policy."

c. Template for Anti-Fraud Statement

Regardless of when the store was created, the system provides a Traditional Chinese template for "Anti-Fraud Statement" to merchants in Taiwan (the shop's default currency is NTD). Merchants in Hong Kong,  Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries (the shop's default currency is not NTD) are provided with an English version.EN 2.png

B. Position where the page content is displayed

Customers who click on Return Policy at the footer on the storefront will be automatically directed to the store's "Return Policy" page. And as they click Delivery & Shipping, they will be directed to the store's "Delivery Policy" page.

When customers check out, they must check "I agree to the shop’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy." If they click Terms of Use, they will be directed to the "Terms and Conditions" page, and if they click on Privacy Policy, they will be directed to the "Privacy Policy" page.

iii.  Quick search page title

Enter the page title in the search bar on top of "Pages", then click the "Magnifier" icon on the right to quickly search for the page title. The search logic is explained as follows:

A. Supports entering multilingual page titles

The system will match the page title in the current Admin language (if you are currently using the Traditional Chinese Admin interface, the system will match with the Traditional Chinese page title), and display the pages that match the title inquired.

If the page does not have a title in the language used in the current Admin interface, the system will match with the titles in other languages.

Traditional Chinese Title English Title Condition: Use the Traditional Chinese interface, and enter "new page" into the search bar
Page A 新的分頁 new page

The system will match the Traditional Chinese title "新的分頁", since the Traditional Chinese title "新的分頁" and "new page" do not match, the page will not be displayed.

Page B (No title) new page The system will match the Traditional Chinese title, and because this page does not have a Traditional Chinese title, it will match titles in other languages. Since the English title matches, the page will be displayed.
*Note: The title of this page is displayed in the order of [Settings] > [Basic Settings] > [Supported Shop Languages]

B. The system supports fuzzy search

This means you can search for the page without entering the full page title. However, fuzzy search does not support mixed upper and lower case English, you will need to enter the same English letter case as the page title.

iv. Edit, copy, and delete pages

You can edit, copy and delete pages through the "Page" list.

*Notes:

  • Editing and deleting features are currently not available on default pages.
  • The copying feature is only available on the Advanced Pages. For Text Pages, we suggest you directly copy and paste content to a new page.
  • The Social Commerce Plan does not support the Delete feature for Pages.

SHOP Builder

*Notes:

  • SHOP Builder currently only supports Ultra Chic, Kingsman, Philia, and Varm themes.
  • After creating a page using SHOP Builder, the page can still be displayed even if you switch to other themes, but it cannot be edited and the layout may be messed up. Please take note of this before publishing the page.
  • Adavanced pages that support SHOP Builder are marked as "Supports SHOP Builder". Click the page title to enter SHOP Builder and edit the content.
    EN 7.png
  • The storefront layouts that support display but do not support editing in the SHOP Builder are Dusk, Skya, Sangria, Bianco, and Doris Bien. Other storefront layouts do not support editing or display.

If you use a Custom URL, even the homepage of the online store is not the "Homepage" (whether you have set the default homepage to another page or you have scheduled a homepage), when you click on "Homepage" in the menu navigation, the contents of the "Homepage" will still be displayed.

*Note: If you use a default Domain URL (i.e. did not click "Apply URL" to customize URL), when you click on "Homepage" in the menu navigation, other default homepages or reserved homepage content will display instead of the"Homepage".

4. Notes

  • As per regulations from the Ministry of Finance, individuals engaged in online sales are required to register for tax when their monthly sales reach the sales tax threshold, which is "NT$ 80,000 for goods sales and NT$ 40,000 for service sales." As of 1 January 2023, for online sales of goods or services, the "Business Name" and "Uniform-Invoice Number (Tax ID Number)" must be fully disclosed. For further details, please refer to the "New Regulations for Online Transaction Tax Registration" section.
  • Please show the "Business Name" and "Uniform-Invoice Number (Tax ID Number)" clearly in the footer or on prominent pages of your online store. This will enable customers and the Ministry of Finance to verify your business information, preventing any potential penalties. Please refer to this website for reference.
