In order to allow the merchants to send Store Credit Expired Notification to customers, SHOPLINE has the "Store Credit Expired Notification" feature to let the merchants determine whether to send the notification or not. Using the notification, the customers will not forget to use the store credits anymore, and additionally, the repurchase rate of the shop will be higher.
*Please go to admin [Apps] > [Apps Store] to install the "Custom Notification" first before setting up the Store Credit Expired Notification.

A. How to Set Store Credit Expired Notification
Step 1. After installing the "Custom Notification" APP, please go to [Setting] > [Custom Notification] and select Store Credit Expired Notification.
Step 2:Schedule the delivery time for sending notification before the store credit expired and set the channel of the notification.
1. The default delivery time is seven days before the store credit expire and it can also be changed according to your needs. (The day must between 1 to 30.)
Take seven days before the store credit expire of the setting for example:

On August 19, 2020, the customer got the 100 store credits expiring on August 27, 2020
The system will send the notification at 00:00 on August 20, 2020, to notice that the 100 store credits will expire on August 27, 2020.
[Example 2]
On August 17, 2020, the customer got the 100 store credits expiring on August 27, 2020.
On August 19, 2020, the customer got the 50 store credits expiring on August 27, 2020.
The system will send the notification at 00:00 on August 20, 2020, to notice that the 150 store credits will expire on August 27, 2020.
[Example 3]
On August 17, 2020, the customer got the 100 store credits expiring on August 20, 2020.
The system will NOT send any notification on August 20, 2020.
2. If you want to send Store Credit Expired Notification, please toggle on one of the switches.
If there isn't the "Send this SMS" Switch on this page, please contact our Online Merchant Success Team to apply the feature.
Step 3:Click the "SAVE" button to update the setting.
After finishing all the settings, the system will send the notification to customers at 00:00 every day.
B. Default content of Store Credit Expired Notification
After the merchant has finished the setting, the customer will receive the notification X days before the Store Credit expired.
The customer will go to the member center by clicking the "Shop now" icon.
Moreover, there are UTM parameters in a URL. By the UTM parameters, the merchants can learn that the customer checked out via this URL.
The UTM parameters are displayed below:

utm_medium=Email (Or utm_medium=Mobile , if send via SMS)

C. Notice
- The system will list all the recipients of "Store Credit Expired Notification" at midnight every day.
- The delivery time of the Email will be set at midnight every day. However, to avoid bothering the customers, the delivery time of the SMS will be set at 12:00 a.m. every day.
- If the Expiry Date of the store credits is less than the delivery time of the Store Credit Expired Notification, the customer will not receive the notification.
- The customer on the Blacklist will not receive the "Store Credit Expired Notification".
- the "Store Credit Expired Notification" feature only supports Chinese, English, Thai and Vietnamese. And the language of the notification based on the customer's browser language.
