⚠️ Before you begin, please note:
- To use SMS services, please complete the real-name signature setting and submit it to the telecom providers for review. Even if the system automatically adds the signature as a prefix, messages cannot be sent until the signature is approved. You can only start sending SMS once the telecom provider has approved your signature.
- The review process typically takes 10-15 working days after submission. You will only be notified by your online consultant if the signature is not approved. If you receive no notification within this period, it is considered approved. We recommend completing the setup as early as possible to avoid any delays in your messaging schedule.
In compliance with NCC regulations for SMS sent to "Taiwan mobile numbers", all message content must clearly identify the sender (i.e., a real-name signature). This signature must be pre-approved by telecom providers; messages without a valid or approved signature will be automatically blocked. This article explains how to set up your real-name signature and other important notes.
1. Real-name signature setup
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Settings] > [Custom Notification] and click Set SMS signature.
Step 2
In the pop-up window, select the region applicable to your SMS signature and click Edit.
Step 3
If your store has an existing signature, you can view and preview the message display here. If no signature exists, please follow the guide below to complete the setup.
With existing signature
You can view your store's current real-name signature and preview the message display here. Editing is not supported here.
*Notes:
- For merchants already using SMS services before this feature launched, we will set up a default signature based on your store information and submit it for review. If your current signature is compliant, no further setup is required.
- If you need to change your signature, please contact our Online Merchant Success Team.
Without existing signature
Refer to the following guidelines and enter your real-name signature in the red-outlined area.
- The signature must include square brackets [ ], e.g., [SHOPLINE].
- Only half-width Chinese and English characters are supported.
-
The signature will be charged as part of the SMS character count.
*Notes:
- When setting up your signature, we recommend using your company, brand, or group name to ensure it is compliant and recognizable.
- If the signature does not meet the guidelines or is not clearly unique, it may affect the review results.
The signature cannot be edited once created. Please ensure the content is correct and click Confirm and Save.
