SHOPLINE’s POS system can be used by downloading the POS App on an iPad. If you need to purchase additional hardware devices (e.g., barcode scanner, receipt printer), please refer to this store.
This article will cover the following:
1. Software version requirements
Due to continuous updates to the Apple system, please use an iPad model that supports iPadOS 17 or above to ensure the POS App can be updated smoothly and operate stably over time.
To check your current iPadOS version, please go to your iPad > [Settings] > [General] > [About] and check the "iPadOS Version" field.
2. Download and log in to POS App
Step 1
Go to the App Store and search for "SHOPLINE POS". Tap Get to download the POS App, then tap Open.
Step 2
Enter the administrator account and password and tap LOGIN to start using the system. For more information on POS store permission settings, please refer to: Managing POS Admin Access | POS Admin.
3. Notes

It is recommended to go to POS App > [Settings] > [Database] and enable the "Optimize Data Storage" feature. This allows the system to regularly clean up old data and improve overall performance.

If a "System Out of Memory" prompt appears, it means the POS App is using too much memory during operation. Please swipe up to close the POS App and other unused apps to free up memory space.
