SHOPLINE's "Social Post Selling" feature is now available for Facebook Group posts. You can offer attractive sales campaigns for exclusive members of the group to boost brand impression and sales.
Similar to the Social Post Selling campaign on Facebook Page, when a customer leaves a comment on the Facebook Group post, the system will detect keywords and send the shopping cart link through Messenger. Customers can then complete the checkout directly.

This article will cover the following:

- Copy, end, and remove Social Post Selling from Facebook Group post
1. Link Facebook Group Social Post Selling to a post
Complete the Social Post Selling settings, scroll to the "Connect post" section at the bottom, and click Connect post.
Step 1
The Facebook Page connected in the [Channel Integration] > [Facebook] will be displayed here. Please select the Page that starts the Group livestream.
If customers place orders or participate in group events, the system will send the checkout and event messages using this Facebook Page.
Step 2
Paste the link to the Social Post.
*Notes:
- For more information on how to obtain a post link, please refer to this article.
- The post status should be "Published". Draft and scheduled posts are not supported.
- Click Copy text next to the "Product Info Preview" to copy the keywords and order method and paste it on the social post.
*Please note: This post should be posted by the Page selected in Step 1.
Ensure that all prerequisites are met:
- The Facebook Page is connected properly in [Channel Integration] > [Facebook].
- Personal Facebook account and Page have joined the Group and have administration access. Please refer to this article for more instructions.
- The professional mode for the personal Facebook account is turned off. Please refer to this article for more instructions.
- The pasted link is for a regular Group post.
Step 3
Click Connect.
The post will be shown under the"Connect post" section. Click the Connect post button again to connect to multiple posts.
*Note: If you are connecting to multiple posts, all posts should be made in the same Group and by the same Facebook Page.
2. Copy, end, and remove Social Post Selling from Facebook Group post
If you have not enabled the Social Post Selling, you can click the "⋯" icon next to the connected post to disconnect the post. Once disconnected, you can connect the same post again to this event.
*Note: When the social post selling event is over, it will display the event end time. Then, the connected Facebook Group post can be connected again to another social post selling event.
