To safeguard your store against the ever-changing cyberattacks and potential risks, review the cybersecurity status of your store regularly. Find the vulnerabilities and take action to strengthen them.
In this article, you'll find:
1. Shop Cybersecurity Status
Step 1
Go to [Settings] > [Permission & Security]. Find the "Security Assessment" section.
Step 2
You can view the security information and settings here.

Step 3
Click [Security Center] in the description or the Go to Security Center button at the top right corner.
Step 4
After you enter the Security Center, you will see four cybersecurity settings and completion conditions. Click the arrow icon on the right to go to the corresponding setting page.

*Note: Starting June 2025, the following settings will be enabled for new merchants by default.
- Require customers to log in to view orders
- Two-factor authentication for staff login
- Customer email verification
- Two-factor authentication for report exporting
- Hide customer information from order details
- Hide custom fields of "Order Settings" and "Customer Settings"
Authentication and Access Control
After completing the relevant settings in the Admin, the warning icon in front of the setting will change into a checkmark

Require customers to log in to view orders |
Go to [Settings] > [Order Settings]. Switch the toggle for "Require customers to log in to view orders". |
Two-factor authentication for staff login |
Go to [Settings] > [Permission & Security] > [Security Setting]. Switch the toggle for "Enable two-factor authentication for login". For more information and limitations, please refer to Two-Factor Authentication Settings of Admin Panel or Staff Members. |
Restricted IP for staff login |
Go to [Settings] > [Permission & Security] > [Manage Login IP], and complete the relevant settings. For more information and limitations, please refer to Admin Whitelist IP. |
Customer email verification |
Go to [Settings] > [Customer Settings] > "Sign up method", and complete the relevant settings. For more information and limitations, please refer to Email verification settings. |
Advanced customer account password validation |
Go to [Apps] > [Apps Store] > "Sign up method", and complete the relevant settings. For more information and limitations, please refer to Complex Password Validation. |
Data Protection and Privacy
After completing the relevant settings in the Admin, the warning icon in front of the setting will change into a checkmark

Two-factor authentication for report exporting |
Go to [Settings] > [Permission & Security] > [Security Setting], and enable the toggle for "Report Exporting Management". For more information and limitations, please refer to Two-Factor Authentication for Exporting Reports. |
Hide customer information from order details |
Go to [Settings] > [Order Settings], and enable the toggle for Hide partial information of order invoice". For more information and limitations, please refer to Customize Order Invoice.

Cyberattack Protection

Store Self-Check
The Store Owner/staff member can confirm the computer or store settings and check the completed settings.

Cyberattacks and online fraud have been on the rise in recent years. SHOPLINE has acquired multiple security qualifications and has implemented various cybersecurity measures for all stores to protect the merchants and customers.
