In SHOPLINE Admin, merchants can export various reports on their retail stores, including Order Details Report, Transaction List, Transaction Detail Report, etc. With these reports, merchants can better understand their store's operation, sales, and order status, all of which can help them plan for future store strategies.
This article will introduce the Customer Analysis Report and the report analysis.
1. Export Customer Analysis Report
Step 1
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Report & Analytics] > [Report Export] > [Retail Store], and click on Customer Analysis Report.
Step 2
Click the Export button to export.
Step 3
The report will be sent to your email address. You may download the report from your email account or from SHOPLINE Admin > [Report & Analytics] > [Bulk Action Process].
*Note: The system might take a while to export large-size reports. Please wait patiently.
2. Report Analysis
- Customer
Displays the customer's name. - Total Spend
Refers to customers' total spending. Calculation method: Gross Merchandise Value - Cancelled Value + Total Edited Value + Preorder (Paid off) - Preorder (Outstanding) - Total Returned Value. For more information on metric definitions and the total spend for different order types, please refer to the section below: 3. Total Spend Calculation Method. - Purchase Count
Refers to the purchase count of the customer. Calculation method: Gross Order - Cancelled Order. The following table demonstrates the changes in purchase count by order type.
- AOV
Refers to the average order value of the customer. Calculation method: Total Spend / Purchase Count.
- Last Purchase Date
Refers to the date of the customer's last valid order. Valid orders do not include:- POS Return Order.
- Cancelled Order.
3. Total Spend Calculation Method
Total Spend Metric Definition
The calculation method for Total Spend: Gross Merchandise Value - Cancelled Value + Total Edited Value + Preorder (Paid off) - Preorder (Outstanding) - Total Returned Value. The metric definitions are as follows:
