SHOPLINE LIVE - Comments Management

SHOPLINE newly launched our LIVE Comments Management feature. During the live stream broadcast, customers can place their orders through keywords, merchants can also help to manage the comments and orders.

 

The following features are available for users who link to Facebook Live or use SHOPLINE Live but sync to Facebook Live, messages will be sent to customers via Facebook Messenger.

 

This article will explain how to manage the orders during the live stream broadcast

 

A. Enter the keywords to place the order 

When a customer enters "keyword + number" and successfully places an order, the message shown in the SHOPLINE Live broadcast room will contain the product name, the variation, quantity, and payment status

Newly added:

  • Product names and Variations tag
  • Unpaid/Paid tag

Merchants are able to view products that have been added to the customer's shopping cart and if there are paid/ unpaid items left in the customer's account.

 

B. Manually place orders for customers

If the merchants would like to manually add products to the customer's shopping cart and send a message notification to the customer, you can use this feature to manually add products to the customer's shopping cart in the SHOPLINE Live broadcast room

Click on the shopping cart icon on the right side of the message to bring up a popover where you can search for the product name/ keyword, view the variations, and add to the cart.

Note: The search function here is only available for products that have been added to the live streaming, hidden price products or out-of-stock products are not allowed to sell during the live stream.

 

After successfully adding the shopping cart, you can edit the quantity, or delete the product. Then click "Send Cart Link" to your customer's Facebook messenger.

After successfully placing the order, the message will be displayed one tag with the name of the product and another tag with the payment status.

Customers will also receive a message from the merchant with a link to the shopping cart, making it easy for them to complete the checkout process.

Notes:

  1. When manually adding orders for customers, an alert will appear if there are insufficient inventory of the product.
  2. You can only send the cart link to one customer per comment, so if merchants would like to edit/ add more products to the customer's account, we will need to ask the customer to leave another comment.
