SHOPLINE has launched the "Print Comment Label" feature. Merchants can print customers' comments during the live broadcast, and after confirming the order information with the customer so that they can ship according to the content of the comment label.
*Note:
- This feature is available for livestreams created from Facebook Page, Facebook Group, and Instagram.
- If you wish to print comment labels automatically or customize the label content, please refer to this FAQ for further instructions.
In this article, you'll find:
1. Install printing software
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Social Commerce] > [SHOPLINE Live]. Click on the Help button and go to Install SLPrinter.
Download for Mac
After clicking the "Install SL Printer" window, click the Mac download link on the right.
1. After clicking the hyperlink of "OpenJDK", click the Latest Release button at the bottom of the page.
Follow the instructions to install the application.
Click Agree to continue the installation process.
You have successfully installed "OpenJDK".
2. After clicking the download link of "SLPrinterSetup", follow the instructions to install "SLPrinter".
Click OK to allow permissions.
Proceed with the process until you see the "installation was successful" notification.
Download for Windows
After opening the "Install SL Printer" window, click the Windows download link on the left.
1. After clicking the hyperlink of "OpenJDK", click on the Latest Release button at the bottom of the page.
Follow the instructions to install the application.
Click "Install" to complete the installation of "OpenJDK".
2. After clicking the download link of "SLPrinterSetup", follow the instructions to install "SLPrinter".
Choose the install location.
Continue the process until you see the "Installation Complete" window.

You can also go to the SHOPLINE Admin > [Social Commerce] > [SHOPLINE Live], and click the Settings button next to the "Print Comment Label."
Then, install the "OpenJDK environment" and "SL Printer."
*Note: If you have any questions while installing the printer driver, please directly contact the printer manufacturer.
2. Print comment label
Click the Enter button to open the live broadcast dashboard where you want to print the comment label.
After entering the backstage, click the "Printer" icon next to the comment.
When printing for the first time, a permission request window will pop up. Make sure you check the box for Remember this decision and then click the Allow button to successfully print the label.
When a green tick appears next to the printer icon, it means that the comment has been printed. Click the icon again to reprint the comment label.
*Note:
- You can print/ reprint comment labels during and after the livestream.
- Before the live broadcast, please test whether the printing function has been integrated. Please also test print the label beforehand to confirm normal functioning.
- The "Print" button will appear next to each comment, regardless of whether the customer's comment contains keywords.
You can also print comment labels in the “Comment Management” tab in the livestream backstage.
Settings of printing comments
Click the "Printer" icon at the top right of the comment section. There are two printing settings:

Print order comments automatically
- You can switch it on/off before and during livestream;
- After the livestream, this toggle button cannot be switched on/off.
- If you switch on/off this setting during livestream, it will take effect for the subsequent comments. Comments received before switching on the feature will not be affected.

Print products' name and price
- Order comments and activity comments will be printed with the products‘ names and prices.
- You can switch it on/off before, during, and after livestream.
3. Comment label format
A: Printing order of comment labels
Each live broadcast is counted individually. The earlier you print, the smaller the value in this order.
B: Customer ID
Each live broadcast is counted individually. The earlier you print, the smaller the ID value. The ID will follow the customer's profile.
Example:
1. The first label printed during the broadcast is a comment from Customer C. The comment label is presented as follows:
- Section A #1
- Section B ID:1
2. The second label printed during the broadcast is a comment from Customer D. The comment label is presented as follows:
- Section A #2
- Section B ID: 2
3. The third label printed during the broadcast is another comment from Customer D. The comment label is presented as follows:
- Section A #3
- Section B ID: 2
4. The fourth label printed during the broadcast is a comment from Customer E. The comment label is presented as follows:
- Section A #4
- Section B ID: 3
C: Customer's name on Facebook
D: Customer's phone number and address
If the commenter has created a record of their phone number and address with the store, this section will show the information. If not, this section will be left blank.
E: The time when the comment is left
F: Comment content
Comment Label format after switching on "Print products’ name and price"
A. Comments including product keywords
The product name and price of the keyword will appear under the comment.
B. Activity comments
The name and price of the gift for the event will appear under the comment.
Taking a lucky draw event as an example:
- The winner's comment + the prize is a product with variations.
- The winner's comment + the prize is a product without variations.
- The winner's comment + the prize is a free gift.
- The participant's comment
4. Filter comments by print status
In the Comment Management section, click on the More filters button.
Check the box for comments unprinted or printed, and then you can filter customer comments based on their print status.
