On the "Retail Stores" report, you can see 5 main metrics in terms of Retail Store operation: "Total Sales," "Total Orders," "Average Order Value," "Total Shoppers," and "Total Products Sold," which is drilled down to individual store level altogether. Data is updated every time the Shoplytics page is refreshed.
This article will cover the following:
1. Line chart visualization
In SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Report & Analytics] > [Shoplytics] > [Retail Stores] > [Store Performance].
i. Select Store
In terms of Stores, the line chart shows "Total Stores" by default. You can always switch it to other stores from the drop-down filter menu. It supports comparing data from up to 10 stores.
ii. Switch Metrics
In terms of metrics, the line chart shows the "Total Sales" metric by default. You can always switch to another metric from the drop-down filter menu.
iii. Export report
Click the download button on the top right side of the line chart to export the report based on the selected store and metrics.
2. Store performance list
To help merchants identify which stores are performing well, the list is sorted by default in descending order of "Total Sales." You can also click on the headers "Total Orders," "Average Order Value," "Total Shoppers," and "Total Products Sold" to change the sorting.
Metrics | Descriptions |
Total Sales |
Gross Merchandise Value - Cancelled Value + Preorder (Paid Off) - Preorder (Outstanding) - Returned Value (Including Total Online Store Returned Value [from stores only using New Advanced Return Management] ) |
Total Orders | Total orders created (Excluding cancelled orders) (*Remark 1) |
Average Order Value | Total Sales ÷ Total Orders |
Total Shoppers | The number of unique shoppers who had placed at least 1 order in the selected period. (*Remark 2) * Every retail store anonymous shopper is counted as one shopper. If there are 2, the Total Shopper would be 2. |
Total Products Sold |
The number of products sold. |
*Remark 1: If there are any changes to orders (e.g. Cancelled orders, order split, or order edit), the order amount difference will be counted on the change date.
*Remark 2: When a customer shops in different stores within the same period, the Total Shoppers will be calculated separately for each store. As a result, the numbers may vary when compared to the statistics of shopper analysis.
🔔 Example: Below are the possible statistical changes when a customer shops at Store A and Store B on the same day.
- Store Performance
- Store A: Total Shoppers + 1
- Store B: Total Shoppers + 1
- Shopper Analysis
- Retail: Total Shoppers + 1
If you would like to view the number of unique shoppers of all retail stores, please go to [Customers] > [Shopper Analysis] and select Retail for Total Shoppers. For more details, please refer to Customers: Shopper Analysis | Shoplytics.
*Remark: The store performance will capture transactions made on Smart OMO, but not the "Total Products Sold" data. Please refer to this article to learn more about Smart OMO.
