The "App Listing" contains essential information for publishing your app to the app store. This content will be displayed on the app detail page in the app store, helping users quickly understand your app's features.
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Shopper App Management] > [App Publish Settings].
Step 2
Scroll down to the "App Listing" section and click Edit to enter the editing page.
Step 3
Fill in the following content according to the instructions:
i. App Name
The App name cannot be modified here. If you need to change it, please go to the app design page.
ii. Subtitle
The subtitle appears below the app name and is meant to be a summary of your app. Use it to highlight your app's core value rather than repeating the app name.
*Note: Please focus on the app's distinctive or typical use that will resonate with your target users, rather than generic descriptions such as "The World's Best App".
iii. Short Description for Google Play
The first text users see on your app's details page in Google Play, with a maximum of 80 characters.
Briefly describe your app's main purpose or branding features to give users a quick introduction to the app. Users can expand the content to view the full information.
iv. App Store Promotional Text
The first text users see on your app's details page in App Store, with a maximum of 170 characters.
Briefly describe your app's main purpose or branding features to give users a quick introduction to the app. Users can expand the content to view the full information. If you need text examples, please refer to: Compilation of Descriptions in Some Industries.
v. Description
Clearly explain your app's services, brand information, and other relevant details, with a maximum of 4,000 characters. It is recommended to use bullet points for clarity.
*Note: The description should be plain text, HTML format is not supported.
vi. Copyright
Enter the name of the company that owns the app's copyright, preceded by the year the copyright was acquired. For example: "2025 Example, Inc."
*Notes:
- The app's copyright holder should match your "Developer Account" company name in the app store.
- The system will automatically add the copyright symbol.
vii. Application Search Keywords
Set keywords related to your industry, product features, and product nature to help users find your app in the app store. Each keyword must contain at least two characters. If adding multiple keywords, separate them with commas without spaces.
*Note: Improper use of keywords is a common issue for app store rejection. Please do not include the following in the keywords:
- Unauthorized trademarked terms, celebrity names, and other copyrighted words and phrases.
- Phrases irrelevant to the app.
- Names of the competitor app.
- Irrelevant, inappropriate, offensive, or repulsive words.
viii. App Supports URL
The app supports URL appears below the app download detail page. When users click Developer Website, they will be redirected to the URL you provide. It is recommended to enter your online store URL or "Contact Us" page URL.
ix. Privacy Policy URL
The privacy policy URL appears below the app download detail page, allowing customers to understand your privacy protection policies. This URL is also an important basis for app store reviews.
The webpage must clearly showcase how your app accesses, collects, uses, and shares user information. It must include:
- Description of the types of user data and sensitive information accessed, collected, used, and shared by the app, including recipients of personal or confidential data.
- Security handling procedures for users' personal or confidential data.
- Developer's data retention and deletion policy.
- Clearly labeled privacy policy (e.g., listing "Privacy Policy" in the title).
Step 4
Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your edits.
Step 5
The App Listing section will display "There is an update to be published". Once you have completed all the information, click Submit an app publish review at the bottom right.
