SHOPLINE has launched the "Member Price/Membership Tier Price" feature on the POS app, allowing you to easily apply various membership prices when checking out at a retail store. The membership prices set in the Admin will also be displayed on the product details page of the POS app.

In this article, you’ll find:

1. How to enable Member Price/Membership Tier Price

Check feature permissions settings

As this feature relates to product price, permission to enable this feature can only be granted by a store owner. If you want to grant permission to staff to enable this feature, go to [Settings] > [Permission & Security]. Select a staff member, and make sure the "POS product settings" box is checked off.

*Note: Staff members who already have full permissions do not need to be granted extra access to use this feature.

2. View from the POS app

Step 1

Once the feature is enabled in SHOPLINE Admin, a reminder will appear in the POS app (as shown below). You must reset the product data to apply the "Member Price /Membership Tier Price".

It is recommended that you set aside a time when the POS app is not in use to configure these settings.

Applying a Member Price/Membership Tier Price

When checking out, if the customer is a member, the "Member Price/Membership Tier Price" will be calculated according to the customer's membership profile.

  • After successfully applying a "Member Price/Membership Tier Price", this new price will be displayed on top of the original price with a strikethrough.
    • Strikethrough prices will be displayed in the following order: Store-Specific Price > Retail Store Price > Sale Price > Regular Price.
  • Custom discounts and other promotions will be calculated according to the "Member Price/Membership Tier Price".

*Note: If you have set a custom price for a product, the "Member Price/Membership Tier Price" feature is not applicable for that product.

  • This feature cannot be used in offline mode.
