App and online store language options are synced and can be configured in the admin. For advanced settings, go to "Basic Settings" to choose whether to display the "English" option in the app.

1. Supported shop language settings
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Settings] > [Basic Settings].
Step 2
Select the supported languages of the online store and the app in the "Supported Shop Languages" section.
*Notes:
- At least 2 languages are required, with English as the system default language, which cannot be removed.
- Shopper App currently supports only 3 languages: English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. If other languages are selected, the app will default to English.
Step 3
Set the default shop language, you can select "based on customer's browser language" or "your custom choice".
2. Display / hide "English" on the app
If your product and category names are not set in English and the "English" option is selected as a supported shop language, Google Play may reject the review. You can adjust the following settings to hide the "English" option in the app.
Step 1
Go to SHOPINE Admin > [Mobile App Management] > [App Settings], and click "Basic Settings".
Step 2
"Display English on the app" is enabled by default.
Click to turn off the button and the "English" option will not be displayed on the app.

After hiding the "English" option in the admin, go to the app > [Account] > [Setting] > [Language], and the system will automatically hide the "English" option.
