Pivoted on the inventory in the SHOPLINE Admin, the MCC App will sync the changes to the inventory systems of all sales channels if there are any changes in product inventory.

 

This article will cover the following:

 

1. How to sync SHOPLINE products

In the MCC App, go to [Inventory]. The system will automatically sync your SHOPLINE products. For more details on syncing products in the MCC App, please refer to: Products|MCC App.

 

*Note: If the following screen appears, you can click Sync SHOPLINE products to automatically sync the products. Click Create SHOPLINE products to be redirected to the SHOPLINE Admin.

If you have synced SHOPLINE products, this page will display all products from the SHOPLINE Admin, with detailed information including "Product name", "SPU/SKU", "Inventory strategy", "Available Inventory," and "Update status."

2. How to connect SKU

i. Automatically connect SKU

In the following three scenarios, the system will automatically connect SKUs. For more information on product duplication and connection, please refer to: Products|MCC App.

Scenario SKU connection status
Duplicating Shopee stores to SHOPLINE Successfully duplicated products will be automatically connected, and all SKUs under the product will also be automatically connected.
Manually connecting SHOPLINE products to Shopee products All SKUs under the product will also be automatically connected.
Switching on the "Auto production connection" feature

Products and all their SKUs will be automatically connected every 2 hours.

 

*Notes:

  • The SKU field cannot be empty; otherwise, the system will not be able to initiate automatic connection.
  • When you create a new product from the MCC App to the Shopee store, the SKUs under the product are not yet connected. If you have enabled the "Auto product connection" feature, it will automatically connect the SKUs under the product every 2 hours.

  • If the product is already connected but the SKU is not, the system will display a notification.

ii. Manually connect SKU

Go to MCC App > [Inventory]. Click the Screenshot 2024-06-14 at 12.13.26 PM.png  button to the right of the product.

Use the product search function, or select products on the product list below to connect. Then, click Confirm.

*Notes:

  • For the corresponding SKUs of the SHOPLINE products, please refer to: SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit).
  • If a Shopee product has no variant, it will be connected with the SHOPLINE product using the channel SPU; if the Shopee product has variants, it will be connected with the SHOPLINE product using the channel SKU.
  • When disconnecting a product, the SKUs under the product will remain connected. To disconnect SKUs, you need to manually edit the channel SKUs.

 

3. How to edit product inventory

i. Edit SHOPLINE product inventory

In the "Available inventory" field for the SHOPLINE Product, click the Screenshot 2024-06-13 at 5.14.19 PM.png button to edit inventory quantity.

*Notes:

  • If the product inventory cannot be edited if it is set to "Unlimited Inventory". It is recommended to change it to limited Inventory.
  • The inventory quantity edited here will be synced to the SHOPLINE Admin. If you have enabled the "Shared inventory" setting, the edited inventory quantity will also be automatically synced to the connected channel SKUs.

ii. Edit channel SKU inventory

Click View more connected SKU below the SHOPLINE product to display the connected channel product information, including "Channel product / variant", "Store name," "Channel SPU / SKU," and "Available Inventory."

You can perform the following actions on the channel products:

  • Click the Screenshot 2024-06-13 at 5.14.19 PM.png button to edit channel inventory;
  • Click the Screenshot 2024-06-13 at 2.56.31 PM.png button to sync channel inventory to the MCC App;
  • Click the Screenshot 2024-06-13 at 4.42.47 PM.png button to disconnect SKU.

4. Shared inventory

After enabling the shared inventory setting, the system will use SHOPLINE's inventory as the central reference. When you modify the inventory of SHOPLINE products, the MCC App will automatically update the connected channel inventories.

Step 1

Go to [Settings] > [Product Settings].

Step 2

In the "Shared inventory" section, click Rule settings.

You can choose to enable shared inventory for all channels or for specific stores. After editing, click Save.

Step 3

Turn on the toggle for Shared inventory.

When enabled, the available inventory of the connected SHOPLINE SKUs in the MCC App will be immediately updated in the Shopee store admin. When the inventory of SHOPLINE SKUs changes, the inventory of the linked channel SKUs will also be updated accordingly.

Check "I got it" and click Enable.

Notes:

  • After enabling, you can modify the rules at any time, and the new rules will take effect after the next inventory change.
  • If you turn off this feature, you will not be able to re-enable it within 30 minutes.

Step 4

After settings, go to [Inventory]. The one-click channel update button will appear in the upper right corner. Click it to immediately update SHOPLINE inventory quantity to connected channels.

5. Notes

  • When the shared inventory setting is enabled, if the SHOPLINE inventory quantity is set to "Unlimited inventory", the connected Shopee product quantity will be updated to 999 and inventory deductions will not be available. If the SHOPLINE inventory quantity is less than 0, the connected Shopee product quantity will be updated to 0.
  • The shared inventory setting only supports updates from SHOPLINE to other channels unidirectionally. Modifying the inventory quantity of other channels will not affect the inventory in SHOPLINE.

  • If you want to deduct the SHOPLINE inventory simultaneously when an order is placed on a channel, please enable the inventory deduction/replenishment rules. For more information, please refer to: Orders|MCC App.
