To facilitate more fluid online store operations, SHOPLINE has launched the "Total order over Minimum Amount Gift promotion condition deduct Credits and Points" feature. Upon enabling it, the order-level (storewide) minimum amount for receiving gifts will be calculated after deducting the discounts from store credits and point discounts. This helps strike a balance between managing your online store and providing benefits to your customers, making it easier to balance gross profits while planning marketing campaigns.
This article will cover the following:
1. Set up the order-level minimum amount for receiving gifts
Step 1. Promotion Settings
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Promotions & Reward] > [Promotions] and click on the Promotion Settings button.
Step 2. Enable the feature
Find the "Total order over Minimum Amount Gift promotion condition deduct Credits and Points" toggle and switch it on. Upon enabling the feature, please click Update to proceed.
Once you've successfully switched on the toggle, store credits and point discounts will then be deducted from the calculation of the order-level minimum amount for receiving gifts.

2. Examples of how this feature works
i. Minimum Amount met with Stackable Pricing off: Make a storewide purchase over NT$500 to get 1 gift
- Purchase condition: Total Order (Storewide purchase) over Minimum Amount
- Benefit Type: Free Gift/ Stackable Pricing OFF
- Event(s) and Condition(s): Get 1 free gift when the amount is over NT$500
Example: Shopping cart of Customer A

The calculation rule for the order-level minimum amount for receiving gifts is "Shopping cart subtotal - product-specific discount - order-level (storewide) discount - custom discount - applied store credits - point discount." That is,
(600 x 2) - 100 - 100 - 300 - 300 = NT$400.
Therefore, Customer A is not eligible to receive any gifts.
ii. Minimum Amount met with Stackable Pricing on: Make a storewide purchase over NT$100 to get 1 gift

The calculation rule for the order-level minimum amount for receiving gifts is "Shopping cart subtotal - product-specific discount - order-level (storewide) discount - custom discount - applied store credits - point discount." That is,
(500 x 1) - 100 - 50 - 50 - 50 = NT$250.
Therefore, Customer B is eligible to receive 2 gifts.
iii. Minimum Amount met with Stackable Pricing off & multiple events/ conditions: Make a storewide purchase over NT$100 to get 1 shirt & NT$500 to get 1 pair of trousers
- Purchase condition: Total Order (Storewide purchase) over Minimum Amount
- Benefit Type: Free Gift/ Stackable Pricing OFF
- Event(s) and Condition(s): Get 1 shirt when the amount is over NT$100 and 1 pair of trousers when the amount is over NT$500

(600 x 1) - 50 - 50 - 50 - 50 = NT$400.
Customer C only meets the NT$100 offer threshold but not the NT$500 one. Therefore, they can only get 1 shirt.
