Change Delivery Method after Order Placed

When Customer wants to change delivery method after order creates, merchant can use this function to do.

For example:

Given that an order has been set up for 7-11 pickup only, the customer intends to deliver to another address via Fedex, DHL..etc under certain conditions such as moving or going abroad.

 

 

 A. Which delivery option & status can be changed?

  1. Pickup - 7-11 pickup only/ COD (B2C)
  2. Pickup - 7-11 pickup only/ COD (C2C)
  3. Pickup - Family Mart pickup only/ COD (B2C)
  4. Pickup - Family Mart pickup only/ COD (C2C)
  5. Delivery - Tcat Room Temp.
  6. Delivery - Tcat Refrigerated
  7. Delivery - Tcat Frozen
  8. Delivery - Tcat Room Temp. (COD)
  9. Delivery - Tcat Refrigerated (COD)
  10. Delivery - Tcat Frozen (COD)
  11. Local courier
  12. Pickup
  13. Pickup - 7-11 pickup (no integration)
  14. Pickup - Family Mart pickup (no integration)
  15. Custom
  16. Delivery - Others
  17. International courier (Same Country / Region)

Unavailable delivery option:

  1. Ezship pickup and pay in store
  2. International courier (Different Country / Region)

Available delivery status:

  1. Unfulfilled (Pending、Pre-processing、Processing、Shippable)
  2. Returned
  3. Problematic (Expired)

Unavailable delivery status:

  1. Shipping
  2. Shipped
  3. Arrived
  4. Collected
  5. Returning
  6. Store-closed
  7. Problematic (Failed)

Available delivery option:

  1. Delivery - SF Plus
  2. Local courier
  3. Cash on Delivery
  4. Pick-up - S.F. Express
  5. Pick-up - HOP!
  6. Pick-up -SF Plus
  7. Delivery - Others
  8. Custom
  9. International courier (Same Country / Region)

Unavailable delivery option:

  1. International courier (Different Country / Region)
  2. S.F. Express (with integration)

Available delivery status:

  1. Unfulfilled
  2. Returned

Unavailable delivery status:

  1. Shipping
  2. Shipped
  3. Arrived
  4. Collected
  5. Returning

 

 

B. Change delivery method

You can find 'edit button' when the delivery status of this order allows editing delivery information.

After click 'edit button' will display as below if this order can change the delivery option.

The system will show selectable delivery options in the dropdown list, even if those are unpublished.

You can see recipient name and phone no. show by original information of order, and merchant can edit.

In other hands, merchant needs to input required fields of the new delivery option.

C. Change payment method (COD order) 

For those order which is type COD/pick up and pay (with integration), merchant can change the delivery method to the type of non-COD, and select a new payment method at the same time.

For example, an order which type is "Pickup - 7-11 pickup only(B2C)",  it can change the delivery method to "Custom" and change the payment method to "Bank Transfer".

 

This sample shows where to select a new payment method.

D. Edit required information

The system will alarm by red color when any required field is empty.

E. Show result

After saved, it will show update successful message in order show page.

If merchant needs notification to customer, merchant can use this button to resend the email.

F. Additional instructions

  1. Delivery fee will not change after the merchant change delivery option.
  2. Payment fee will not change after the merchant change payment option.
  3. COD can be edited to pickup only/ other delivery type, but it can't change to the COD.
    E.g. 711 pickup order can't change to FamilyMart pickup type.
  4. Pickup only order can be edited to Pickup only/ other delivery type, but it can't change to COD.
    E.g. 711 COD order can't change to 711 Pickup only type.
  5. After you edit the delivery method, payment option may not be changed to "non-  integration" type.
    E.g. After you change the payment option from COD to pickup type, you may only choose payment options that are "non-  integration" .
