SHOPLINE has optimized the quick-apply product keyword interface to assist customers in placing orders efficiently.
This article will cover the following:
1. Feature scope
This feature is applicable when editing/creating keywords in the following:
1. SHOPLINE Live backstage
- Select product keyword
- Create product keyword
2. Social Post Selling
- Select product keyword
- Create product keyword
3. Product Keyword
- Select product keyword
- Create product keyword
2. How to quickly apply keywords
*The descriptions and screenshots below demonstrate editing existing keywords in the livestream.
Proceed to SHOPLINE Admin > [SHOPLINE Live] and click on any of the livestream, then select a livestream product and click Next.
In the "Edit keywords" window, click the Quick apply button on the right.
i. Auto-apply keywords for empty fields
Check the box for the "Auto apply product keywords for empty fields", the system will then generate keywords for empty fields according to the following logic... A1, B1, C1.
For example:
Product | Variation | Keyword |
Stripe Suit | - | A1 |
Plain Suit
|
Black/L | B1 |
Black/M | B2 | |
Black/S | B3 | |
Grey/L | B4 | |
Grey/M | B5 | |
Grey/S | B6 | |
Custom Suit | - |
If the keyword E1 has already been created, the system will not create a new keyword for this product, so this product keyword will only be: E1 (Note 1) |
*Note: Currently only supports generating keywords for products with empty keyword fields. If keywords have already been created for selected products, the "Auto apply product keywords for empty fields" option will be grayed out and unable to be clicked.
To remove a keyword, click the X icon on the right of the keyword.
ii. Custom generate keywords for all fields
a. Prefix
Select "Customize keyword generation for all fields," and enter the keyword prefix.
e.g., enter "TEST" to auto-generate keywords "TEST1," "TEST2," "TEST3" ...
Product | Variation | Keyword |
Striped Suit | - | TEST1 |
Plain Suit
|
Black/L | TEST2 |
Black/M | TEST3 | |
Black/S | TEST4 | |
Gray/L | TEST5 | |
Gray/M | TEST6 | |
Gray/S | TEST7 | |
Custom Suit | - |
If the keyword E1 has already been created, the system will still create a new keyword for this product so that this product keyword will be: E1, TEST8 (Note 1) |
*Note: Whether or not you have already created a keyword for this product, the system will generate keywords according to the prefix you have entered.
A product currently supports up to 3 new keywords
To remove a keyword, click the X icon on the right of the keyword.
b. Prefix + Suffix
Besides entering the keyword prefix, you can also check the box for "Use product variations as suffixes" so the system will automatically apply product variation into the keyword suffix.
For example: Enter TEST, and check for the box "Use product variations as suffixes."
Product | Variation | Keyword |
Striped Suit | - | TEST1 |
Plain Suit
|
Black/L | TEST2 Black L |
Black/M | TEST2 Black M | |
Black/S | TEST2 Black S | |
Gray/L | TEST2 Gray L | |
Gray/M | TEST2 Gray M | |
Gray/S | TEST2 Gray S | |
Custom Suit | - |
If the keyword E1 has already been created, the system will still create a new keyword for this product so that this product keyword will be: E1, TEST3 |
To remove a keyword for multi-variation products, currently, you can only delete all product variation keywords of a product at once.
You just need to announce the prefix and the number in the livestream. Customers can add the variation of their choice after "prefix + number" to place an order.
The following explains whether various types of customer comments can be successfully captured by the system:
Take the keyword "TEST1 Black L" as an example,
Customer Comment | Can the system capture | Reason |
TEST1 Black L | ✓ | Spaces between variations and product names are supported |
TEST1BlackL | ✓ | No spaces between variations and product names are supported |
test1Blackl | ✓ | Letter cases do not affect the system from capturing keywords |
test 1Blackl | ✗ | Spaces between the prefix and the following numbers are not supported |
test1 Blackl | ✓ | Spaces between the number and variation are supported |
test1 Blackl | ✓ | Multiple spaces are supported |
test1黑色l | ✓ | If the product variation includes multiple languages, the customer can enter product names in other languages to get captured by the system |
