*Note: The "Product Details Page" in the "Standard Page" serves as a unified store mobile design and currently only supports the following theme templates: Ultra Chic, Varm, Kingsman, Philia, Sangria, Bianco, Doris Bien, Skya, and Dusk.
Advanced pages created with SHOP Builder now support "Standard Page", allowing for more comprehensive and detailed layout adjustments across all advanced pages. Within the product details page, you can switch and preview mobile layouts to select the most suitable design, enhancing the mobile shopping experience.
In this article, you'll find:
1. Go to "Product Details Page"
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Online Store Design] > [Pages] > [Standard Page], and click Edit on the right of "Product Details Page".
You will enter the product details page layout settings, where you can switch between the old and new versions. The "Applied" status next to an option indicates the current layout being used for your store's mobile front-end.
*Note:
If your store is using an old theme template, the new mobile product details page will be unsupported, and the "New version" option will be grayed out. A red notification stating "Your current theme does not support the new mobile product details page" will appear at the top of the page.
2. Preview the new mobile layout
Hover over the "Preview" button next to the old or new version options, and a QR Code with a link will appear for previewing the mobile interface.
*Notes:
If you've added custom liquid to your website, the preview will also reflect these customizations.
If the new version does not display when redirecting to the product details page, try adding "?pdp_v2026=true" at the end of the URL to switch to the new layout.
After switching the layout, click Save at the top right and Confirm in the pop-up to apply the changes.
3. Notes for switching theme templates
If you switch from a new theme template to an old one, the following pages will display notices about the mobile product details page.
When switching themes in SHOPLINE Admin > [Online Store Design] > [Design], the confirmation pop-up will now include a notice that the "New mobile product details page" is not applicable.
- When entering "Product Details Page", the system will automatically revert to the "Old version" (shown as "Applied") even if the setting is previously set to "New version". A red notice will also appear at the top stating "Your current theme does not support the new mobile product details page. The system has automatically applied the old version layout".
- Hover over the red exclamation mark next to "New version" to view the compatibility notice.
