Paygent Payment Settings (JP)

Paygent is an online payment service in Japan. By integrating Paygent with SHOPLINE, merchants can offer credit card, [coming soon] PayPay, and Rakuten Pay as payment options. Once you complete the setup in the SHOPLINE Admin, customers can select Paygent at checkout for a secure and convenient payment.

*Note: This article is available for Japanese stores only.

In this article, you'll find:

 

1. Add Paygent in payment options

Step 1

In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Settings] > [Payment Options]. Click Add

Step 2

In the Payment Type, select "Paygent".

Step 3 

Complete the following fields: 

  • accessKey and accessSecret: These are required fields. Please obtain them from the Paygent Admin and enter them here.
  • Salt (Credit card payments only): This is a required field. Enter the value obtained from the Paygent Admin and enter it here.
  • Paygent Payments: This is a required field. Credit card, [coming soon] PayPay, and Rakuten Pay are supported.
  • Payment Fee: 
    • Credit card: Set to "None" by default, but you can adjust it as needed.
    • [Coming soon] PayPay and Rakuten Pay: Set to "None" by default and cannot be changed.
  • Checkout amount condition, Name of Payment Method, Payment Instructions, and Excluded Delivery Options: These can be customized as needed.

accessKey and accessSecret

To get the "accessKey and accessSecret", please go to Paygent Admin

After signing in to your account, go to [開發者向け], and click 作成. In the pop-up window, click 実行, and the key information window will appear.

*Note: The key information will be displayed only once. Please make sure to save it securely for later entry in the SHOPLINE Admin.

Salt  (Credit card payments only)

To get the "Salt", please go to the Paygent Admin.

After signing in to your account, go to [加盟店情報管理] > [決済手段] > [券種情報]. The Salt will be displayed there.

 

Step 4

After completing the above fields, click Add at the bottom of the page to create the payment method.

*Notes:

  • Once the Paygent payment method is created, the Payment Type, accessKey, accessSecret, Salt and the Paygent Payments cannot be modified. If any of these need to be changed, merchants must create a new payment method.
  • The accessSecret and Salt will be partially masked for security reasons.

 

2. Customers' payment at the storefront

Customers can select the Paygent payment method at checkout. The displayed name will be the one you configured.

*Note: Paygent supports only the following:

  • Supported:

    • Previous Shopping Cart and Checkout
    • New Shopping Cart and Checkout
    • Multi-Attribute Products Order Checkout
    • One-Page Store
  • Not supported:
    • Fast Checkout
    • Express Checkout Page
    • Product Subscription

1. Credit card

After entering their customer information, delivery details, and payment information on the checkout page, customers can click Place Order. They will then be redirected to the order confirmation page.

*Notes: 

  • Supported credit card types: Visa / MasterCard / JCB / AMEX / Diners
  • If payment is not completed within 60 minutes after the transaction is initiated, the system will update the Payment Status to "Expired".

 

[Coming soon] 2. PayPay

After entering their customer information and delivery details on the checkout page, customers can click Place Order.

  • Desktop:
    Customers will be redirected to a QR code page. Scan the QR code with the PayPay app to complete the payment. Once the payment is completed, customers will be redirected to the order confirmation page.
  • Mobile:
    The PayPay app will open automatically. After completing the payment in the app, customers will be be redirected to the order confirmation page.

*Note: If payment is not completed within 15 minutes after the transaction is initiated, the system will update the Payment Status to "Expired".

 

[Coming soon] 3. Rakuten Pay

After entering their customer information and delivery details on the checkout page, customers can click Place Order.

  • Desktop:
    Customers will be redirected to the Rakuten Pay payment page. Sign in with a Rakuten ID and password to complete the payment. Once the payment is completed, customers will be redirected to the order confirmation page.
  • Mobile:
    The Rakuten Pay app will open automatically. After completing the payment in the app, customers will be redirected to the order confirmation page.

*Notes:

  • The order amount must be JPY 100 or more.
  • If payment is not completed within 40 minutes after the transaction is initiated, the system will update the Payment Status to "Expired".

 

3. Refunds

i. Refund process

Refunds cannot be processed through the SHOPLINE Admin. Please process all refund requests directly in the Paygent Admin. 

 

ii. Refund record

After completing the refund in the Paygent Admin, return to the SHOPLINE Admin to manually update the record. When creating a refund record in the SHOPLINE Admin, two refund methods are available: Provide refund account or use a custom payment method set by the merchant.

If a customer applies for a refund in the storefront, two refund options are available: "Provide refund account" or "Others (Please contact us for refund details)".
