Apple ID Registration and D-U-N-S Number Request

If your company/organization is not listed on this site, you can submit an application to Dun & Bradstreet to receive a free D-U-N-S number.

 

1. Apple ID registration

Step 1

Proceed to the registration page to create your Apple ID.

In the second half of the Apple ID account registration, you will be asked to fill in the phone number to verify your identity. Finally, after entering the randomly generated code, you can click Continue to create an Apple ID account.

 

Step 2. Verify email address

The system will first send a verification letter to the email you just filled in, enter the verification code in the pop-up window and then click Continue.

 

Step 3. Verify phone number

Phone number verification is also required. Enter the verification code from the SMS, then click Continue. 

 

Step 4. Upgrade to two-factor authentication on the web

1. Go to appleid.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
2. Answer your security question and click Continue.
3. You will see a prompt to upgrade your account security. Click Continue.
4. Click Upgrade Account Security.
5. Enter the phone number where you would like to receive a verification code upon login. You can choose to receive verification codes via text message or automated voice call.
6. Click Continue.
7. Please enter the verification code to verify your phone number and enable two-factor authentication.

 

2. D-U-N-S number request

Step 1

1. Open the D-U-N-S Number website and click look up your organization under "Requesting a D-U-N-S Number".

2. After logging in with your Apple ID, the page will ask you to fill in the company information.

Please note:

• Please enter with roman characters 
• Use the English name as displayed on your passport. 

3. Click Continue to submit the application. You will see a reminder in yellow:

This means your company has never registered a D-U-N-S number. Please check the box at the bottom (as indicated below) then click Submit. 

 

Step 4. Wait for the confirmation email

After the application phase is over, you will receive an email called "D-U-N-S Number Request/Update Confirmation" informing you of the submission of the application. Please wait for the verification by phone. A registration complete notification will be sent to your email after completing the verification.
