Set Up Checkout Amount Condition

SHOPLINE has launched the "Condition of checkout amount" feature. Merchants can set up a checkout amount limitation for specific payment methods. When the customer's checkout amount does not reach the limit, they will be restricted from checking out with a particular payment option. This can help merchants to maintain operational efficiency.

In this article, you'll find:

 

1. How to set up checkout amount condition

Step 1

In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Settings] > [Payment Options]. Click Add or Edit button to enter the setup page for the condition for checkout amount.

Step 2

Select a payment type, then select Total order Over under the option for "Condition of checkout amount".

Step 3

Enter the minimum total amount for every checkout.

*Note:

  • Total amount = Item Subtotal - Discount Applied - Applied Store Credits - Applied Point Discount + Delivery Fee + Tax + Payment Fee
  • The currency is preset to the currency set when the store was initially created.

Step 4

Complete the following payment settings to add the "Condition of checkout amount" for the payment option.

For example, enter the name of the payment method and payment instructions; select the excluded delivery options. Please refer to this article for detailed instructions.

2. Storefront view

After the setup, when a customer chooses the payment method at the storefront, if the checkout amount is lower than the conditions you set, a reminder text "This order must meet the minimum amount..." will appear on the following pages.

  • Shopping Cart("Proceed to Checkout" button still available)

  • Fill Information("Place Order" button not available)
    Note: A reminder "Still need (Currency) (Amount) to meet the checkout conditions!" will appear on the page. Customers can click the "Continue Shopping" button to return to the store.

3. Express Checkout page 

  • Order Details("Buy Now" button still available)

  • Fill Information ("Continue Shopping" button still available)
    Note: A reminder "Still need (Currency) (Amount) to meet the checkout conditions!" will appear on the page. Customers can click the "Continue Shopping" button to return to the store.

3. Notes

  • This feature currently does not support orders created in POS, Kiosk, Openapi, store Admin / Message Center / SHOPLINE Live / Social Commerce.
  • To comply with the regulations of the third-party payment services, when customers choose a third-party payment option, the checkout amount conditions have to be set within the following ranges before checkout:
    • 7-11 pickup COD NT$1 ~ NT$19,999
    • 7-11/FamilyMart pickup only NT$0 ~ NT$19,999
    • Tcat COD NT$30 ~ NT$99,999
    • FamilyMart Refrigerated COD NT$0 ~ NT$100,000
    • HCT COD NT$0 ~ NT$100,000
    • Stripe FPX RM2 ~ RM30,000
    • Stripe 3D HK4 ~ None
