You can use the “Main Tab” feature to display specific product categories on the app’s homepage, allowing customers to view featured products or promotional information.
⚠️ Before you start: For Hong Kong merchants, this feature is available only on the Shopper App Pro plan.
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Shopper App Management] > [App Design] > [Current Template]. Click Set up to enter the app editor page.
*Note: This setting will apply to both Simple Template and Mall Template. We recommend selecting the template currently in use.
Step 2
In the left-side element panel, click Main Tab to configure the following settings.
i. Display Main Tab
Click the button in the left element panel to open/close the main tab.
ii. Release Schedule (optional)
If you have set a release time, the main tab will be scheduled to display in the app.
Step 3
Set up tab contents in the left-side element panel, supporting up to 10 tabs.
i. Home
"Home" is the system's default tab. You can edit the tab name, but you cannot adjust the order or delete it.
ii. Custom tab
Click + Add to create a new tab. Enter the tab name and select the destination category. Currently, the "Custom Tab" supports two types of destination categories: "All Products", "Selected Category", and "Promotions". You can adjust the order or delete the tab.
*Note: "All Products" and "Promotions" are the system's default tabs. You can the name, adjust the order or delete them as needed. However, if you have edited the Main Tab before 18 March 2025, the system will not automatically preset the "Promotions" tab.
Step 4
After completing the setups, click Save as draft in the top right corner. Once you confirm the content is correct, click Update and use to publish.
*Note: If there is only the "Home" tab, the setup can be saved or published, but the main tab will be hidden and will not display in the app.
