To offer a better browsing experience for customers using mobile phones, we provide different catalog and category display features. You can choose whether to expand the sub-menu and sub-category, or you can choose to hide the display of product categories on the mobile website.

1. Collapse menu items on mobile
Step 1
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Online Store Design] > [Design] > Advanced Settings.
Step 2
Once you check "Collapse menu items in mobile by default." the menu navigation will not expand the sub-menu items by default. Once unchecked, the menu navigation in the mobile menu will expand all sub-menu items by default.

2. Hide categories on the mobile menu
Step 1
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Online Store Design] > [Design] > Advanced Settings.
Step 2
Once you check "Hide categories on mobile menu," the "Categories" menu will be hidden on the mobile menu. Once unchecked, the expanded "Categories" menu will appear on the mobile menu.

3. Collapse categories by default
Step 1
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Online Store Design] > [Design] > Advanced Settings.
Step 2
Once checked "Collapse categories by default," the "Categories" menu will be hidden on both the desktop product listing page and mobile menus by default. Once unchecked, the expanded "Categories" section will appear on the desktop product listing page and the mobile menu.

4. Settings in the new page builder
In the new version of the SHOPLINE page builder, you can adjust the menu display on the mobile website and sub-categories of the product list.
*Note: The new page builder currently only supports Ultra Chic, Kingsman, and Varm theme templates.
Go to the new page builder
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Online Store Design] > [Pages]. Click Advanced Page to open the new page builder.
A. Adjust mobile menu settings
Click the Store Settings on the left menu and select Mobile to adjust how your store catalog appears on mobile. Please refer to this article for more details.
*Note: If you switch on/off the "Collapse menu items" toggle, all existing pages will change accordingly.
B. Adjust categories display
Click Store Settings > Product > Menu / Category to adjust whether to display or collapse the sub-categories on the mobile menu and the desktop listing page. Please refer to this article for more details.
