LINE@ 1:1 Chat in Message Center

To let you manage and reply to LINE@ messages more efficiently, SHOPLINE provides LINE@ 1:1 Chat in the Message Center.

*Note: Due to the interface and feature update of LINE, the Message Center in the Admin cannot currently view the messages replied to from the LINE OA. You can go to the LINE OA backend and LINE OA app to view and reply to the complete conversation.

 

1. Connect LINE account 

Before using LINE@ 1:1 Chat, please make sure you have completed Connect with LINE | Channel Integration.

Please also confirm that in your [LINE OA Manager] > [Settings] > [Response Settings], the three toggles for Chat, Greeting Message, and Webhooks are switched on.

*Notes:

  • Currently, one-on-one conversations in the Message Center only support sending and displaying text and images.
  • If the store sends a text + image message from the SHOPLINE backend, it will be treated as two separate messages sent by the customer.
  • In the Message Center, the emojis of some LINE messages are displayed as text or cannot be displayed.
  • Messages sent through LINE will be sent as paid messages, which will be accounted for from LINE's monthly free message quota.

 

2. Message management in the Message Center

After the connection is completed, the new message sent by the customer to your official LINE account will appear in the Message Center and the LINE OA backend.

Go to [Message Center] > [Instant Message] > [LINE] to view and reply to LINE messages. Messages sent by customers in the past will not be displayed.
