To meet the frequent short-term and unexpected funding needs in e-Commerce, SHOPLINE Payments has selected loan programs from CTBC Bank, Taishin Bank, and 21 FINTECH. This article explains how to apply for a loan and how to gather relevant information required for application review from the SHOPLINE Admin.

1. Differences between individual and business loans

2. How to apply for a loan
Step 1. Go to your SHOPLINE Payments account
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Hello, OOO] > [SHOPLINE Payments account]; or go to [Settings] > [Payment Options] from the left menu and click View SHOPLINE Payments account.
Step 2. Find the "Small-Business Financing Service" section
Find the "Small-Business Financing Service" section on the right. You'll see the "Business Application" and "Individual Application" sections. Click Learn More.
3. Apply for a individual loan (21 FINTECH)
Click Learn More in the "Individual Application" section. A window will pop up with an introduction to 21 FINTECH and the financing service application process.
To fill out the application form, click Click here to apply. Click Got it to close the window.
The application questionnaire only requires your name, phone number, SHOPLINE account (handle), and preferred contact time. Upon submission, a representative from 21 FINTECH will get in touch with you regarding the subsequent process.
4. Apply for a selected business loan (CTBC Bank)
Who is eligible for a CTBC Bank business loan?
- Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that meet the definition of TSMEG and have been established for at least one year.
- Annual reported revenue exceeding TWD 1 million and positive pre-tax net income.
- The business and related parties have normal bill and credit records.
What documents are required for the application?
- Loan application forms and basic information forms for the company, responsible person, guarantor, and affiliated companies.
- Copies of passbook transaction records from the primary financial institutions used by the above company and related parties for the past three months, including the passbook cover.
- Copies of company registration documents, company change registration forms, articles of incorporation, registers of directors and supervisors, partnership agreements, and other relevant documents.
- Copies of balance sheets and income statements for the past three years, and Forms 401/403/405 for the past year.
- Other documents that may support the application review and demonstrate the applicant's financial resources, such as fund subscription forms, insurance policies, real estate transcripts, reported income, and contracts.
What is the process from loan consultation and application to disbursement, and how long does it take?
A CTBC Bank representative will contact you in as soon as 1 business day to assess your eligibility. Once an appointment has been arranged and all required documents have been submitted, the review can be completed in as soon as 2 business days. After approval, funds can be disbursed in as soon as 1 business day once verification is completed and all required documents are provided.

5. Apply for a selected business loan (Taishin Bank)
Who is eligible for a Taishin Bank SME loan?
Businesses with annual revenue of at least TWD 400,000 that have been established for at least one year.
What documents are required for the application?
- Proof of business registration, transcript of business registration, and tax registration documents (or company (change) registration form, articles of incorporation, and register of shareholders).
- Forms 401, 403, or 405 for the past two years.
- Profit-making enterprise income tax returns and balance sheets for the past three years.
- Copies of the ID cards of the responsible person and their spouse.
What is the process from application to disbursement?
Apply online through the Taishin Bank website → Submit the required documents → Bank review → Verification → Disbursement.
How long does the process from application to disbursement take?
After you submit the online application, a Taishin Bank representative will contact you within 1 business day. Once all application information is provided, the review can be completed in as soon as 4 hours. After approval, the representative will complete the verification process with you, and funds can be disbursed in as soon as 1 business day once all required documents are provided.

6. Gather relevant documents for review
You can visit the following pages to obtain the information required for verification to complete the application.
i. Time and date when you joined SHOPLINE
Step 1
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Hello, xxx] > [My Subscription & Billing].
Step 2
Scroll down to the bottom and check the earliest "Date," which represents the time when you joined SHOPLINE.
ii. Annual turnover
Step 1
In the SHOPLINE Admin, go to [Report & Analytics] > [Shoplytics].

Step 2
Click on the date picker at the top right and choose a period under "Custom" for the analysis range. Set the time to the past year (e.g. 2024/01/01 - 2024/12/31) and click Apply to proceed.
