Pop-up ads are suitable for promoting marketing campaigns and will pop up when customers enter the app homepage.
Step 1
Go to the SHOPLINE Admin > [Mobile App Management] > [App Design] > [Ads Setting] > [Pop-up Ad] and click Set up to set the pop-up advert.
Step 2
i. Set the pop-up image
In the Edit area on the right side, click + add an image to upload a picture for your pop-up advert.
ii. Choose a jump link
There are three types of Jump Link options available, "Categories, Promotions, and Custom URL."
A. Categories
For merchants who check "Categories," please click ⊕ Select a product category and choose the proper categories in the pop-up window. Upon confirmation, click Confirm. For more details about how to set a Product list element, please refer to this article.
B. Promotions
For merchants who check "Promotions," please click ⊕ Select a promotion campaign and choose your desired campaigns in the pop-up window. Upon confirmation, click Confirm. For more details about how to set a Promotions element, please refer to this article.
C. Custom URL
For merchants who click "Custom URL," please enter the link in the field. Note that the entered link must start with either "https://" or "http://".
Step 3
Select the ad presentation. You can set the advert as either "Skip" or "Countdown."
Upon the setup, you can see the actual presentation and effect in the Preview area in the center.
Step 4
Set a release schedule if necessary. Notice that this is a non-obligatory field. Click the "calendar" icon to the right of the field to set the start and end time for your pop-up ad.
*Note: If you would like to close a pop-up ad after enabling it, you can set the "End Time" to 1 to 2 minutes after the current time. Click on "Update and use" to save and publish the changes. After the specified end time, the pop-up ad will no longer be active.
Step 5
Click Update and use on the top right once you finish editing your Pop-up Add element.
