For the variation type, Color and Size are present options but you are free to customize your own variation type. Having said variation type cannot exceed 2 items, the number within each variation type is not the case. To be concrete, for example, there can be 5 colors for a product with 5 different sizing. This article is going to describe the steps of setting up product variations.

Step 2: Enable product variation
The default setting disables variations > Click "YES" to enable the variation feature if variations present
Please notice: Once the "Variations" toggle is "ON" when checking out at storefront, it will calculate delivery fee according to variation's own weight, NOT using the weight of the main product.

To add another variation, click "Add Variation" and fill in the options in the field on the right.Remarks: The options can not be duplicated for each variation.
If there are 2 variations, combinations are automatically formed below. Take the image below as an example, 9 combinations are formed with 3 colors (red, blue, grey) and 3 sizes (S, M, L):
- Plans under Basic Plan, Advanced Plan, and Premium Plan maximum can add 100 variant combinations.
- Plans under the O2O plan, Enterprise plan: maximum can add 400 variant combinations. (Can be installed in "app store")

Step 5: Unlimited Quantity and Unified Price Settings
- All variations have the same price: Variations are set at the same price by default. Untick the checkbox to change.
- Unlimited Quantity: If the variations have an unlimited supply, check the box.
Bulk import main product information
You can select multiple variants and bulk import main products: regular price, sale price, member price, cost, location ID, product SKU, and weight.
Step 6: Add Single Variant

It will show a "+" mark to let you drag and drop the options on the variant input field, and when you move the options, the variation table will be updated at the same time. After you update the product, the new sorting will be applied to the storefront immediately.
Remarks: Make sure the default language field is not left blank otherwise error message would appear
Step 8: Complete setting
Click "Update" to save your changes.
Step 9: Check at the storefront
For the product with variations having different prices, the storefront will display price range
format: variation's lowest price ~ variation's highest price
Ex. Product with the following price will display as an image below
|Variation||Regular Price||Sale Price|
Currently, we do not support using "bulk import new product" or "bulk update product" to import variant sale price, cost, and weight.
- Columns for POS plan:
- EC + POS plan: backend supports editing sale price, cost, weight for each variant, and price range displayed in storefront while variants having different prices. POS APP supports showing the regular price, sales price.
- POS plan: backend supports editing costs only for each variant. POS APP only shows the sales price.
Merchants who used "Online Store Design > Code Editor" to customize the storefront, the display will be fixated. "Show Price Range" feature would not able to use, storefront would not display price range.
However, merchants may go check on “Settings > Product Settings”, use the “Preview Mode” to see if the display can work out in your shop.
If yes, you may turn ON the toggle and save the changes. If the display is not as expected, you may edit the current code in the "Online Store Design > Code Editor” page, then turn ON the toggle.
If you have turned ON the toggle but storefront still not display price range, please contact online consultant for further information.
