A product feed allows you to upload your product information to third-party platforms for advertising. With SHOPLINE's "Product Feed Manager" app, you can fully customize the rules and format for generating your product feed.
This article will cover the following:
1. Install the app
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Apps] > [Apps Store]. Use the drop-down menu to select "Marketing" and "Merchandising".
Step 2
Find the "Product Feed Manager" app and click Install Now. For more information on app installation, please refer to Apps Store.
Step 3
Continue with the authorization of relevant permissions and click Install & authorize to complete the process.
2. Add product feed
Step 1
Go to SHOPLINE Admin > [Apps] > [My Apps]. Find the "Product Feed Manager" and click Open App.
Step 2
Once opened, click the Add feed button.
Step 3
Select the channel you would like to add, and click Add.
*Note: Currently, only Google and Criteo channels are supported, and each channel can only have one product feed.
Step 4
Set the product upload rules. Use different conditions to create generation rules for product feed.
i. Product feed title
For internal reference only. You can enter up to 50 characters.
ii. Select product sales status
- Upload products with and without inventory: Upload all products.
- Only upload products with inventory or available for sale: Only upload products that can be ordered in the online store (including products with preorder limit enabled).
iii. Add pre-order products
To select this option, you need to go to [Products & Categories] > [Products] to enable Pre-order Products or Preorder Feature.
iv. Select product categories (optional)
The field defaults to blank. You can select multiple categories, and only products from the selected categories will be uploaded.
v. Use system unique product IDs or product SKUs?
- Use system unique product IDs: Import the product IDs from the SHOPLINE system.
- Use product SKUs: Import the SKUs. If no SKU is set, the system product ID will be used instead.
vi. Select main product image
Set the first / second / last product image as the primary image.
vii. Select product variation image
- Main product image: Follows the same setting as the "Select main product image" option.
- Variation image: If no variation image is set, the main product image will be used instead.
viii. Add Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) and Barcode?
This option is only available for the Google channel.
ix. Select target language
Set Traditional Chinese / Simplified Chinese / English as the language for product titles and descriptions.
Step 5
After completing the condition settings, click View products in the "Product Overview" section on the right. You can view the products that meet the conditions for upload, including product names, variations, and the total quantity.
*Note: This feature only displays the products for the next update and does not reflect real-time data.
Step 6
Click the Save button below to complete the settings.
3. Manage product feed
You can perform the following actions on the "Product Feed Manager" page.
i. View product feed information
You can view the product feed title and the last update time, which refers to the last edit time.
ii. Copy link
Click thebutton to copy the link of the product feed.
iii. Edit
Click Edit on the right to modify the product upload rules. The system will apply changes during the next update.
iv. Delete
Click thebutton on the right and select Delete. After reviewing the deletion notice, click Delete again.
*Note: Deleting the product feed may affect your current ads on third-party platforms.
4. Notes
- Staff members need to have "Apps" permissions to access the product feed manager app. Store owners can go to [Settings] > [Permission & Security] to enable the permission.

The update time for the product feed file is as follows:
Channel Daily Update Time Google 03:00, 09:00, 15:00, 21:00 Criteo 01:00
- If you uninstall the product feed manager app, the product file will no longer be updated. It is recommended that you remove the links you have set up on third-party platforms.
