Stripe Payment Settings

Stripe is an American technology company, that allows both private individuals and businesses to accept payments over the Internet.

Stripe is currently open for US and Hong Kong merchants only. 

To setup Stripe in Shopline, please make sure your shop country is based in US/HK/JP/SG, shop currency is USD/HKD/JPY/SGD.

After setting up Stripe in Shopline, your customers will be able to pay on the checkout page in your shop directly, without needing to redirect to another payment page.

 

Stripe's transaction fee

3.4% +HK$2.35 per successful card charge

The price is the same for all major cards. There’s no additional fee for international cards, failed charges, or refunds.

Stripe Settings

To apply for Stripe account, please go to your SHOPLINE Admin Panel > "Settings" > "Payment Options" > Press "Add" button

 

Step 1

Select your "Payment Type" as "Credit Card via Stripe" > Click "Activate" to start setting up your account

Remarks: Stripe is currently open for US and Hong Kong merchants only

Step 2

If you already have a Stripe account, click "Sign in" on the top right hand corner to login to your account
For new registrations, please enter your information below > Click "Authorize access to your account"

 

Step 3

You will be redirected back to SHOPLINE admin panel after authorization.

Here you will see the system has updated the payment method with Stripe's secret key.

You can now set up your payment processing fee, edit the name of your payment method for Stripe and check if you need to exclude any delivery options.

After you've done the setup > Press "Update" to add Stripe

Step 4

Although Stripe payment method has been added, it is currently not visible in your store.

Please go back to "Settings" > "Payment Options" > Click "Publish" to start using this payment method in your store
