The blog feature is a new beta feature released by SHOPLINE. It allows merchants to create and manage their blogs together with their shops.

1. Steps to set up
Step 1. Check your plan
At the upper right corner of the store backstage, go to "Hello, OOO" > "My Subscription & Billing" to view the store's plans and modules.
- If you see the screen below, there are "Paid" and "Module" in the "Plan Subscription" section. Please confirm whether your store has an "e-Commerce" plan. If so, you can go to the next step to set it up.
- If you see the screen below, the "Plan" in the "Current Plan" is Basic, Advanced, Premium, O2O, or Enterprise. Please confirm whether your store has a "Premium/O2O/Enterprise".
If so, please go to [Apps] > [Apps Store] in the left menu to install the feature.
Step 2. Add blog article
Login to your admin panel, go to [Online Store Design] > [Blog]. Once this feature is enabled, you will see the posts page with a default blog post for reference. To add a new post, click the Add blue button.
Step 3. Edit article
You can customize the post title such as brand story, latest product release, etc, and write relevant content in post content. If you need to add in HTML snippets, please press </> before you add in the codes.
Note: After clicking </>, the content of this field will change into HTML syntax. Please refer to this link for more details: View HTML from Text Editor.
Step 4. Search engine optimization
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) title and description not only will be reflected in search engine results but also used as blog posts' snippet preview.
If you edit the blog post title and content later on, please remember to update the title and description under the Search Engine Optimization section to sync up all contents.
Once you have completed all sections, click Add.
After clicking Add, you can now view your post on the blogs page in your storefront: (http://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/blog/posts), the format is shown as below:

i. Adding blog homepage to the directory
In the SHOPLINE Admin Panel, go to [Online Store Design] > [Menu Navigation] and click Add. Select the option for the two drop-down menus.
- Menu item type: Page
- Select Page/ Category/ Blog Post/ Promotions: Blog Posts
ii. Adding blog posts to the directory
In the SHOPLINE Admin Panel, go to [Online Store Design] > [Menu Navigation] and click Add. Select the option for the two drop-down menus.
- Menu item type: Blog Posts
- Select Page/ Category/ Blog Post/ Promotions: (the blog post title)
3. Arrangement of articles on the blog homepage
- Blog articles displayed on the homepage will be sorted from newest to oldest.
- In the Admin Panel, click Unpublish to stop showing the article in the storefront.
- The first image in the blog post will be automatically displayed on the blog homepage.
- The layout design of the blog homepage will be presented according to the "Design" layout you selected in the Admin Panel.
