Merchants can create different promotional campaigns with discount incentives to maximise their sales and profit.
And when you have set different membership tier(s) and accumulated members, you can set exclusive discounts to designated membership tier(s).
In this article, we will demonstrate how to set a membership offer for bronze members
e.g. Bronze Members: 10% off upon purchase of $500 or more , 20% off upon purchase of $800 or more
Step 1：Go to "Sales & Promotions" Tab
> Select "Promotions & Campaigns" to view the Discount List
> Click "Add" to create new promotion
Step 2: Fill in the General Information
A. Promotion Name：
Promotion name will be displayed on the checkout page.
e.g. Bronze membership: Exclusive summer discount offer
B. Purchase Conditions：
You can set the purchase condition (e.g. minimum purchase/ number of items) for selected products OR the entire order
e.g. For Bronze Members: 10% off upon purchase of $500 or more , 20% off upon purchase of $800 or more. Here we will choose total order over "minimum amount" for this example.
C. Set Benefits:
Discount Type: Discount % OR Fixed Amount
Applies to: All Products OR Selected Products
(1) Discount Type:
e.g. Bronze members can have 10% or 20% off in this example and so we would choose "Discount %" here.
(2) Applies to:
e.g. All products in the store can enjoy this membership promotion, hence select "All Products"
D. Set Different Discount(s) According to Different Conditional Levels
First set the first level of benefits & condition tier for Bronze members i.e. Enjoy 10% off upon purchase of $500 or more.
Click "Add Benefits & Condition Tiers" to add second level of discount, i.e. Enjoy 20% off upon purchase of $800 or more.
Please note that Discount type and Condition should be the same as the first tier.
Step 3: Set Target Group
A. Target Group：
You can set the promotion to be applicable to all customers or registered members only.
e.g. As we would like to set the promotion to be exclusive for bronze members so we will select "members"
B. Member Target Group：
Next you can set the promotion to be applicable to all registered members or selected membership tier(s) only.
e.g. As we would like to set the promotion to be exclusive for bronze members so we will select "Specific Membership Tier(s)"
C. Other Settings：
You can set the promotion usage limit for each member: Unlimited or Once per member
Here in this example we do not put a limit for each bronze member and hence we select "Unlimited"
Step 4: Set Benefits & Criteria
A. Coupon Code:
Our system would default the promotion does not require Coupon Code to redeem, which means the promotion is auto-applied at the checkout page.
Here we will set it to auto-apply for this example.
If Coupon Code is required to redeem the discount, you can "Unchecked" the checkbox and enter the Coupon Code.
B. Promotion Limitations:
1. Promotion Period
Start Date: Default value is TODAY. Start time at 00:00 TW/HK time (GMT+8).
End Date: Default value is "Never expires". You can unchecked the "Never expires" checkbox and then able to set End date of the promotion. End time at 23:59 TW/HK time (GMT+8).
e.g. There is no limit for ending date, you can let it be and move on to the next setting
2. Number of times the promotion can be used:
Default value is "Unlimited" use of the promotion.
Unchecked the "Unlimited" box to set number of times the promotion can be used
e.g. For bronze members, there is no limit for how many times the promotion can be used, here we set as "Unlimited"
Step 5: Set Valid Payment & Delivery Options
The system has automatically applied all the payment settings valid to this promotion. If there are some payment settings invalid to this promotion, you can unselect some payment settings valid to this promotion.
Step 6:Preview & Publish the Discount Promotion
After you preview and confirm the settings are all correct, please click "Confirm & Publish the Discount Promotion.
