Update order tracking Information


Merchants can update the order's courier name, tracking number and courier tracking URL so that customers can track their order easily. 

Remarks: This feature is only available to the following types of delivery: Local Courier, International Courier and Custom

B.Update order tracking Information


Step 1:Update tracking number

Go to the specific order you want to update on > Scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll see "Delivery details" section



Step 2:Update order Information

Click "Update Tracking Number" button and a pop up window would appear as follows > Click "OK" to save after completing the information

Step 4: Send email notification to your customers

Merchants can choose to send email notification to the customers by clicking "Edit" button next to "Update Order Delivery Status" drop down box


Check the box "Check this box if you want to send a notification email to your customer"



C.Bulk update order tracking Information


When SHOPLINE merchant use different delivery options like home delivery, SF Plus...etc, they will need to update tracking information frequently so that customer can track their parcels' delivery progress easily.



Step 1: Enter bulk update tracking number page

Enter order index page and click button "Update tracking no." to enter bulk update page.






Step 2: Download Excel sample

Please download sample: bulk_upload_example_en.xlsx 



You can see the excel contains 6 fields:

  1. Order No.: required
  2. Tracking Number: required
  3. Courier Name: optional
  4. Courier Tracking URL: optional
  5. Update Status to Shipped(Y/N): optional
  6. Send Notification Email to Customer(Y/N): optional


Rules to follow while filling the excel:

  1. A maximum of 1000 orders can only be uploaded each time
  2. Order number can contain the symbol #. Tracking numbers for integrated order delivery option like 7-11/ Family Mart/ Ezship can't be updated with this function.
  3. Tracking number limit is 30 characters.
  4. Courier name limit is 20 characters.
  5. Courier tracking URL limit is 225 characters.
  6. Update Status to Shipped(Y/N):There is a limit that you must input half-width alphabet Y or N (Chinese/Japanese language input specific).
  7. Send Notification Email to Customer(Y/N):There is a limit that you must input half-width alphabet Y or N (Chinese/Japanese language input specific).
  8. You can update the same ordermany times, if you want to correct the wrong tracking number you previous uploaded, you can update again.
  9. If one excel file include two orders with same order number, then both of them would not be updated. Please confirm which one to keep and update a new file again.



Step 3: Download order report

There are two ways to input the order number:

  1. When there are only a few orders to be updated, download sample and manual input order numbers.
  2. When there are a large number of orders to be updated, download order report and copy order number (no need to remove the symbol #) to sample file and upload.






Step 4: How to find tracking number, edit courier name and tracking URL

Logistic partner will create tracking number for every order.

Merchant can show the tracking number to customer and let customer track own package.

For example: SF express website




Input courier Name and URL can help customer track their own order(s) with the link to logistic partner website.





Step 5: Edit Update status to shipped (Y/N) and Send notification email to customer(Y/N)

 You can also update the following:

  1. Update delivery status to shipped.
  2. Send notification e-mail to customer when delivery status is updated to shipped.

These fields are optional, please leave the field blank if you do not want to update anything.



Step 6: Upload Excel file

 Upload Excel file



Step 7: Modify failure result and re-upload

 If there are errors while importing, will direct to import result page.

You can download the excel for error results, and upload it after modifying with correct data/format.





Step 8: Verify update success

 If excel content has been updated successfully,  it will direct to order index and show success message.

You can view the changes in each order page.
